The Child & Family Center recently hosted its annual Donor Appreciation Breakfast, a heartfelt gathering to honor the partners who have supported their mission throughout the year. Representatives from Hello Subaru of Valencia’s marketing team attended the event, joining other community advocates to reflect on the incredible work accomplished together. The morning began with a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. The Child & Family Center expressed deep gratitude to its supporters, with a special highlight for Hello Subaru of Valencia. Their recognition underscored the dealership’s significant contributions, a reminder of the profound difference made possible through partnership. The event also offered a powerful presentation on the Center’s impact and the scope of its work. Since 1976, the organization has been a cornerstone in the community, transforming lives and strengthening families. Their services have provided safety, healing, and hope to thousands, including shelter for families escaping dangerous situations, support for survivors of domestic violence, and counseling for those in crisis. The scale of their impact was deeply moving, as each number represented lives changed, futures secured, and families restored. One of the most memorable moments came when a therapist demonstrated the methods used to help young children express their emotions and navigate their experiences. Through tools such as baby dolls, puppets, toy phones, and dollhouses, the therapist illustrated how children’s play can reveal their feelings and needs. A child’s care for a baby doll might reflect their own desire for nurture, while interactions with a dollhouse could convey emotions of isolation or family dynamics. Watching these practices in action brought a new depth of understanding to the incredible work being done. The therapist also shared how these approaches are being expanded into schools, reaching even more children and families. For the Hello Subaru of Valencia team, the event was an unforgettable experience. It was a chance to witness firsthand the impact of their partnership with the Child & Family Center and to reflect on the importance of supporting organizations dedicated to healing and empowerment. The Hello team left feeling inspired and grateful, proud to work for a company that prioritizes giving back and fostering meaningful connections in the community. The Donor Appreciation Breakfast was a beautiful celebration of shared purpose and a testament to the power of collaboration. It was a reminder that together, we can change lives, heal relationships, and help people thrive.

My name is Amanda, and I am the Client Loyalty Advisor at Hello Subaru of Valencia. I attended the Paws & Pumpkins Pet Adoption and Trunk-or-Treat event at Hello Subaru of Valencia as a volunteer and looked forward to seeing the community come together. But I never imagined the day would also change my life in such a wonderful way. That’s when I met a nine-month-old puppy who instantly stole my heart. My family and I decided to adopt him and name him Copper. Bringing Copper home was an incredible moment. My family fell in love with him the second we walked through the door. His playful energy brought joy and laughter, and my younger siblings couldn’t get enough of him. Copper quickly became a member of our family and fit in so well. What surprised me most was the bond Copper formed with our five-year-old dog. She has never gotten along well with other dogs, so I was a bit nervous about how she would react. To my amazement, she adored Copper from the start. He follows her everywhere, seeing her as a mother figure, and she doesn’t mind at all—they’ve become inseparable. Their special connection has brought so much warmth and happiness into our home. I’m truly grateful to have been part of the Paws & Pumpkins event, not just as a volunteer, but as someone who experienced firsthand the incredible work being done. Supporting such a great cause and finding our new furry family member has been a gift. Cooper has filled our home with even more love and joy than I could have imagined.

Hello Subaru of Valencia transformed into a Halloween festival! Teaming up with the Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control - Castaic Care Center, they hosted the Paws & Pumpkins Pet Adoption and Trunk-or-Treat event. This wasn’t just any Halloween gathering, it was a fun day for families, local businesses, and nonprofits who joined together for an unforgettable afternoon of treats, costumes, and adorable pets seeking new homes. Hello Subaru created a festive, welcoming atmosphere for families in creative costumes to enjoy a safe, fun-filled event. Local businesses and nonprofits joined in on the excitement, each decorating their trunks in delightful themes, from “Under the Sea” and “Jurassic Park” to “Riley’s Core Memory” and more! Kids and families visited each trunk, gathering treats and learning more about what each organization does for the Santa Clarita community. They also had a local food vendor with delicious birria tacos that had everyone coming back for more! The stars of the day, however, were the adorable animals brought by Castaic Animal Care Center. Nine pets joined the celebration, each one dressed in an adorable Halloween costume. As families met these lovable pets, five found forever homes, including two adopted by Hello Subaru staff! Seeing these pups in their costumes finding their new families was a heartwarming highlight of the day. Hello Subaru covered adoption fees. Hello Subaru’s booth offered “new pet kits” each kit came with a pet bowl, toys, a collar, and a leash—a fresh start for new pets and their families. One of the most anticipated parts of the day was the “Best Trunk” competition, where attendees voted for the most creative trunk. At 2:00 PM, the winner was announced: the Star Wars-themed trunk, a huge hit among fans and families! Local nonprofits were out raising awareness for their missions. The Child & Family Center supports survivors of domestic violence and provides mental health services, family support, and child advocacy, making a profound impact on local children and families. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation aids children with cancer and their families, providing much-needed resources during challenging times. Santa Clarita Veterans Services Collaborative assists veterans with services and community connections, ensuring they receive the support they deserve. Montessori of Santa Clarita offers early education programs that nurture a love for learning, while Phi Theta Kappa from the local college encourages academic excellence and community service among students. Horn’s Water Restoration shared their business of how they help any water, flood, waste, and mold damage emergencies. Hello Subaru of Valencia was thrilled to bring families, businesses, and nonprofits together to celebrate and support one another, showcasing the strength of the Santa Clarita community—all while helping some wonderful pets find their forever homes.

At the WiSH Education Foundation, we are incredibly fortunate to have as a partner Hello Subaru of Valencia. They support us in myriad ways including opening up their dealership campus and giving us a home for our Cocktails on the Roof (COTR) annual event. COTR is an evening, under-the-stars festival with tents galore, housing local food and drink vendors alike, all serving specialty cocktails created specifically for the event. In addition to public lounges to allow our guests to gather, our sponsors have their own, upgraded lounges with comfy furniture and festive lighting - and everyone dances to the live DJ, along with volunteer dancers from a local dance studio. As our Presenting and Venue Sponsor, Hello Subaru of Valencia allows us to get maximum fundraising dollars from the event, thereby allowing us to make an even greater impact for the over 21,000 students we serve in our public school district of grades 7-12. Having the event on their campus is no easy feat; hundreds of cars must be moved off campus, so thanks must go out to Angel Maldonado, the General Manager, for making it all happen. The entire staff of Hello Subaru is dedicated to making a difference in our community, not just for WiSH but for several local charities, which we greatly respect and appreciate. We have so much respect, actually, that we have invited their incredible Marketing Director to speak at our upcoming forum dedicated to driving confidence in young women. Samantha Morrow embodies all that young girls should strive to be - confident, successful, driven to do and be whatever they choose. Jessica Menendez, their Giving Coordinator, could not be more generous and inclusive; both young women are at the top of their game and always make WiSH feel as though we are the most important nonprofit in the region. Thanks to owners Karl Schmidt and Chris Morris, WiSH is able to bridge the gap in state funding for education for student programs and provide for necessary resources in our student wellness centers district wide. We are also their chosen charity for Share the Love over the Holidays, so with funding dollars more difficult tor raise every year, this helps us make an even greater impact. We cannot do what we do without Hello Subaru of Valencia, and we are greatly appreciative!

Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly partnered with the Child & Family Center for the second year to support their annual 5K Purple Walk, raising awareness and funds to end domestic violence. The event was a great success, with over 200 walkers, including 45 Hello Subaru team members and their families. Three associates from the Subaru of America team also came and joined for this meaningful cause. It was great seeing everyone come together for a sense of community and shared purpose. As the top sponsor of this year’s walk, Hello Subaru donated over $11,000, building on last year’s contribution of over $11,000, for a total of over $22,000 in the past two years. Our commitment to this cause runs deep, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come. The walk not only raised critical funds but also brought together survivors, advocates, and supporters, highlighting the power of community in combating domestic violence. Throughout October for Domestic Violence Awareness month, each Hello Subaru staff member wears a purple ribbon to show their support to the community. They also had several Hello Subaru team members share their personal stories about the impact of domestic violence and how much this event meant to them. Hearing their experiences highlights the importance of standing together to support others who are affected by domestic violence. Hello Subaru set up a booth at the event, offering Hello Merch, including custom candles. Participants kicked off the day with a delicious breakfast provided by the Child & Family Center, a DJ, a bubble dance party, and everyone getting ready to walk together. The walk began through an archway with the Hello Subaru logo. As walkers stepped through the arch purple powder was thrown, symbolizing unity and hope for a future free from violence. At the end of the walk, every participant received a medal featuring the Hello Subaru logo. The Hello Subaru team also handed out beautiful purple roses to show their support and brighten the walker's day. Nikki Buckstead, the CEO of The Child & Family Center, expressed deep appreciation for Hello Subaru's support. Their work in providing domestic violence services is life-changing for survivors and their families. The center offers critical support through its comprehensive programs, including individual and group counseling, safety planning, and emergency shelter. Additionally, the center offers legal support, helping survivors navigate the complexities of court proceedings, custody issues, and restraining orders. The Child & Family Center also provides broader services such as children's and teen mental health support and drug and alcohol treatment programs. For over 40 years, they have been dedicated to changing lives, healing relationships, and helping people thrive, serving more than 900 children, youth, and families monthly in the Santa Clarita, Antelope, and San Fernando Valley. Hello Subaru of Valencia is proud to have been part of such an impactful event, alongside Subaru of America and our local community. We are committed to continuing our support for causes that uplift and strengthen individuals and families, ensuring that survivors of domestic violence have the resources and community backing their needs to rebuild their lives. The 5K Purple Walk wasn't just a day of walking; it was a day of connection, empowerment, and hope for a brighter future.

Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly partnered with the WiSH Education Foundation for their third annual "Cocktails on the Roof" event, transforming the dealership’s service drive into a stunning venue. This year’s event featured beautiful lighting, VIP section, DJ, dance floor, and a wide array of local food vendors; creating a night to remember for over 200 guests. The festival-like atmosphere, which included unique cocktails and food, provided a perfect setting for the community to come together for a worthy cause. Hello Subaru of Valencia not only offered its space but also covered the entire cost of transforming the dealership, contributing over $23,500 to make the event a success. The evening brought together community members to support the WiSH Education Foundation, which plays a vital role in the William S. Hart Union High School District. Founded in 2011 by education advocates, WiSH was established to bridge the gap in state education funding, serving nearly 23,000 students in grades 7 through 12. The foundation's mission is to enhance public education through initiatives and programs that go beyond state funding. Key programs funded by WiSH include the distribution of more than 18,000 Chromebooks to socioeconomically disadvantaged students, the provision of desks and chairs to displaced and homeless students, and the creation of 16 wellness centers that offer safe spaces for students to de-stress and seek support. The Cocktails on the Roof event provided an opportunity for attendees to see Hello Subaru’s vehicles up close, as Hello Subaru Client Advisors volunteered to chauffeur guests in brand-new Subaru Ascents from parking areas to the venue. Client Advisors were on hand to answer any questions, making it both a fun and informative experience for guests. The night was a huge success, with WiSH Education Foundation raising over $50,000 to support its various programs. The partnership between Hello Subaru of Valencia and their hometown Chairty, WiSH extends beyond this single event, reflecting a shared commitment to improving the lives of local students year-round. Hello Subaru of Valencia is grateful for this meaningful collaboration, which strengthens their bond with the community and continues to make a lasting impact on education in the Santa Clarita Valley.

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of being invited to: Michael Hoefflin’s Cheers for Charity event. I was happy to represent Hello Subaru of Valencia and support one of our hometown charities. September is childhood cancer awareness month and the foundation held this event to bring awareness and raise funds to continue helping those families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis in our local community. Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children's Cancer hopes to provide Hope, Help, and Healing to these families. The foundation’s wish – to put an end to children’s cancer in all its forms. Their goal is threefold: they are committed to finding better treatments and cures through medical research; to promoting awareness of childhood cancer; and to assisting local children and their families through outreach programs through both emotional and financial support. Cheers for Charity consisted of live bands, drinks for the adults, and a variety activities for the kids. I had the pleasure of attending with my best friend and her son. Leo, 4, was highlighted in Hello Subaru’s Little Heroes Day as he is a survivor of childhood cancer. At just a year old, Leo was diagnosed with a very rare form of pediatric cancer. After a year of chemo, he was cleared of cancer at the age of two. Shortly after, he was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer once again. After two years of chemo and battling this rare form of cancer, Leo was officially declared cancer free a couple months ago. The event was beautiful with dancing under the stars and family fun for all. On each table there were photos of the children who are currently receiving support from the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. There were raffle prizes as well to help reach their goal of $75,000. As a member of the Hello Subaru team, I am happy to show support to our charity and support all the little heroes in our community.

Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly partnered with Peachland Elementary School for the second year as part of Subaru Loves Learning initiative, in collaboration with AdoptAClassroom.org. The initiative focuses on making a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing much-needed support to high-needs schools across the country. This year, Hello Subaru of Valencia contributed $3,000 to benefit 150 students and support six classrooms at Peachland Elementary. A total of 92% of classrooms across the nation have students whose families are unable to afford essential school supplies. Unfortunately, teachers often bear the financial burden of supplying these materials. At Peachland Elementary, their partnership is helping to ease that burden. This contribution follows Hello Subaru of Valencia’s earlier donation of 300 backpacks to the Newhall School District—Peachland Elementary’s home district—as part of our broader commitment to ensuring students start the school year equipped for success. As part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, the Hello Subaru team provided Subaru Loves Learning boxes filled with school supplies, donated backpacks, and delivered a school bus with notes of appreciation for the teachers. When the Hello Subaru team arrived at Peachland Elementary, they were warmly welcomed by office manager Toni and escorted to a staff meeting, where they met Principal Katrina, and surprised the dedicated teachers at Peachland Elementary School. The teachers were happy by the unexpected generosity of Hello Subaru of Valencia. Love Promise Coordinator, Jessica Menendez, shared a few words: “At Hello Subaru of Valencia, we believe that every student deserves an equal and fair opportunity for a quality education. To help, we’re donating $3,000, a few Subaru Loves Learning boxes filled with school supplies, donating even more backpacks and providing an inspiration board to help you keep doing what you’re doing and know you are appreciated. We hope this contribution helps ease the burden on students and teachers, allowing everyone to focus on learning and growth.” The teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support, with many expressing how much it meant to have their work and students recognized. This second year of giving back was a success in their ongoing efforts to uplift the teachers who do so much for the future of our community. At Hello Subaru of Valencia, we are proud to be a part of this journey and look forward to continuing our commitment to education in the years to come. Together, they’re making a difference—one classroom at a time.

Hello Subaru of Valencia recently had the pleasure of partnering with Subiefest, California's largest Subaru enthusiast festival, and it was an event to remember. Subiefest is known for bringing together a community of Subaru lovers, and this year was no exception. The festival was a mix of vehicles and activities, catering to every kind of Subaru enthusiast. From race-prepped WRXs to off-road-ready Outbacks, Subiefest had something for everyone. The event was packed with exciting attractions, including live music, delicious food trucks, various vendors, and fun activities for the whole family. Attendees enjoyed tech seminars with experts sharing knowledge on performance upgrades, and hands-on demonstrations to help enthusiasts pick their next modification. One of the many things that stood out was the RallySport Auto Cross, where participants navigated a cone course as quickly as possible without knocking anything over. The adrenaline was high as drivers tested their skills. They also had a dyno tester measuring attendees' car's horsepower, adding a competitive edge to the day. Another crowd favorite was the rally car simulator, where attendees competed for the best time, with prizes for those who could beat the record. Subiefest also showcased the latest Subaru innovation, including the new BRZ TR and WRX TR trim models, which drew plenty of attention from festival-goers. At the heart of the festival was the Subaru Retailer Village, where Subaru dealerships in California set up shop. Hello Subaru of Valencia was proud to be the fun with an interactive booth attendees kept returning to. They handed out a variety of Subaru-branded goodies, including coolies, stickers, water bottles, keychains, dog toys, and car air fresheners, ensuring everyone left with a souvenir of the day. But it wasn't just about the giveaways—the Hello Subaru booth featured a Crosstrek Sport decked out with custom accessories that had festival-goers asking questions. Our team was on hand to answer any questions about the vehicle, share insights, and connect with fellow Subaru lovers. It was clear that everyone had a blast being part of such a dynamic community event. Subiefest was not just a festival; it was a celebration of everything Subaru, a place where enthusiasts could come together, share their passion, and have a great time. Hello Subaru of Valencia was thrilled to be a part of it and contribute to the day's fun and excitement. They look forward to many more events like this in the future!

This year, I had the privilege of attending the Subaru Loves Learning drop-off at Peachland Elementary School, an event that holds special significance for me. Last year, I participated in this initiative on just my second day of work, so being invited again this year felt particularly meaningful. Alongside our team, I helped deliver over 20 backpacks and six boxes filled with school supplies. We made our delivery during a teacher faculty meeting, which gave us the opportunity to speak with the teachers directly and witness firsthand how these supplies positively impact their classrooms. It was truly heartwarming to see the difference our efforts make in their daily lives. Our teachers play an invaluable role in shaping the future of our youth, and supporting them is essential to ensuring that every child has the resources they need to succeed. Working for a company like Subaru is incredibly fulfilling because they genuinely care about the community. Being part of an organization that prioritizes giving back and making a positive impact reinforces the pride I feel in the work we do every day.

Hello Subaru of Valencia recently teamed up with the Sulphur Springs Union School District, Newhall School District, and Castaic Union School District for the annual Back to School – Backpack Drive. Hello Subaru is significantly impacting students as they prepare for the new school year. Thanks to the incredible support from vendors, customers, and staff, the dealership donated 700 backpacks, each filled with essential school supplies. In total, 7,200 items were distributed, including pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons, spiral notebooks, plastic folders, glue sticks, individual whiteboards, markers, highlighters, and more. Each school district provided a wish list, ensuring that the donations met the specific needs of their students. The first stop for the Hello Subaru team was the Sulphur Springs Union School District. With 53.9% of students economically disadvantaged and 80% identifying as minorities, the need for support was evident. The district serves 5,188 students across 10 schools, and Hello Subaru was determined to make a difference. The team met with Ashley Swanson, the School Social Worker, who was grateful upon receiving 300 backpacks, all filled with supplies. "These donations will bring so much joy to our students and help boost their confidence," said Swanson. The team arrived with three vehicles packed with backpacks. Swanson shared how many of these students cannot afford new school items, making this donation incredibly impactful. The second stop was at Castaic Union School District, where 43.8% of students face economic challenges. The district, which serves 1,893 students across five schools, received 100 backpacks filled with supplies from Hello Subaru. The staff expressed their amazement and appreciation, noting that the impact of last year's donations was still being felt. "The backpacks last year brought so much happiness to our students, and we're thrilled to receive this support again," shared a staff member. The final delivery was made to the Newhall School District in Valencia, California, where 44.4% of students are economically disadvantaged and 70% are minorities. Hello Subaru donated 300 backpacks filled with school supplies, and the staff couldn't believe the generosity. On behalf of the District's Governing Board, Superintendent Hernandez, and Executive Cabinet, "we can't thank you enough for supporting our students. Your donations will help provide school supplies for the students who are most in need. The relief your generosity brings to parents and the smiles on children's faces are priceless!" The team from Hello Subaru helped unload the backpacks, knowing that these supplies would have a lasting positive impact on the children who received them. Providing students with new backpacks and school supplies cannot be overstated. Research shows that having these essentials can significantly boost a child's self-esteem and confidence. A survey by Education World found that 91% of teachers believe that new supplies positively impact students' confidence. When children feel prepared and equipped, they are more likely to participate in class and interact with their peers, leading to a greater sense of belonging. This inclusivity helps reduce social anxiety, particularly among low-income students who might otherwise feel embarrassed about lacking the necessary materials. Moreover, students who come to school prepared are less likely to exhibit behavioral issues. Teachers report that when students have their supplies, they are more focused, less disruptive, and more engaged in learning. Over time, consistent access to necessary supplies contributes to better educational outcomes, increasing the likelihood of high school graduation and reducing the dropout rate. Hello Subaru of Valencia is proud to give back to the community, demonstrating that they are more than just a dealership. By investing in the education and well-being of local students, they are helping to shape tomorrow's leaders. The team at Hello Subaru is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of young people, knowing that every backpack and every school supply can make a difference in a child's life.

As a volunteer at Hello Subaru of Valencia, participating in the Bundle of Joy Drive has been an incredibly heartwarming experience. Our goal was to support new mothers in our community by providing essential items for their newborns. The teamwork and dedication of my team made this initiative truly special. I am grateful to be a part of a company who cares so much and inspires us. From the moment we started assembling the diaper bags, each bag was packed with care, containing diapers, baby wipes, lotions, and other necessities. Knowing that these items would bring relief and joy to new mothers, especially those facing economic hardships, made me happy to be a part of something bigger. One of the most impactful moments was our visit to the SCV Pregnancy Center. We were welcomed warmly and given a tour that highlighted the incredible work they do. Hearing about the challenges many of these women face, particularly those experiencing homelessness, was eye-opening. Knowing the importance of our efforts made me realize the difference we are making in these individuals' lives. My good friend has been going to the SCV Pregnancy Center since the birth of her first child in 2001. She has had complications with her pregnancies. It has been such a gift to see her thrive with her two children with the help of the SCV Pregnancy Center. This experience has been fulfilling. Being a part of an organization that values giving back and making a positive impact is incredibly rewarding. The Bundle of Joy Drive is a testament of our team’s effort, and we look forward to continuing to support our community, including those with new families.

Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly sponsors the Titania K-9 Fund’s 8th Annual Event: Wanted: Wild West Gala. Hello Subaru donated $500 to support this significant event. This annual event is a crucial fundraiser for the Dog Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The program provides essential physical, emotional, and social benefits of dog therapy to patients and their families. The dog therapy program relies on volunteers and donations to help bring comfort and happiness to young patients undergoing cancer treatment. This fundraiser event began in memorial of a young artist and an animal lover named, Tory Kane. The fundraiser was created to honor this amazing individual whose wishes before she passed were to raise funds for the hospital’s dog therapy program. Tory's mother, motivated by her daughter's wishes to help raise funds for these therapy dogs and began the fundraiser with close friends, family, parents of Tory’s classmate, and Tory’s best friends to create the first annual fundraiser, which began as a tea party event called "Tea for Titania." Since then, the Titania K-9 Fund has raised over $82,000 for dog therapy at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Wanted: Wild West Gala will feature a silent auction, raffle, and a special appearance by the dog therapy teams, allowing attendees to witness firsthand the impact of dog therapy. These teams, consist of volunteers and their dogs, visit nearly every section of the hospital, providing comfort to patients, their families, and even hospital staff. Dog therapy plays a critical role in supporting cancer patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. While a majority of visits take place in patient rooms and are tailored to the individual needs and wishes of the child, dogs are also available to help motivate kids during physical therapy, distract them during long or uncomfortable procedures, and provide relief for those in pain. In the rehabilitation unit, therapy dogs are incorporated into physical, occupational, and speech therapy efforts. Under the supervision of a medical professional, dogs help patients achieve specific treatment goals. For example, a patient working on gross motor skills might roll a ball back and forth with a dog in the rehab gym, while a patient in speech therapy might be encouraged to speak dog-appropriate commands. In areas where treatments can last many hours, like the infusion center or dialysis clinic, dogs provide distraction and companionship to help pass the time. Hospital caregivers can also request special dog visits for patients needing extra support for anxiety, loneliness, or motivation. Hello Subaru of Valencia’s sponsorship underscores their commitment to community engagement and support for meaningful causes. The dealership's contribution will help ensure the continued success of the dog therapy program, which has been a vital part of the hospital’s culture since 2001. Each year, more than 25,000 individuals benefit from interactions with therapy dogs at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, making the program an invaluable resource for those in need.

Hello Subaru of Valencia continues to build strong partnerships that create positive impacts on the lives of those in need. In a heartfelt initiative to help nourish the community, Hello Subaru hosted its second annual Feed SoCal Food Drive in collaboration with Stater Brothers Markets, ABC7, and Southern Regional Food Banks throughout the month of June. Statistics reveal that 1 in 7 individuals in Southern California face food insecurity. With food costs rising by 9.5% over the past year due to inflation, many more families are struggling to put meals on the table. Recognizing this pressing issue, Hello Subaru of Valencia aimed to collect unexpired and non-perishable food items to provide quality sustenance to those affected by hunger. Hello Subaru of Valencia, supported by their loyal customers and the local community, worked diligently to bring hope and nourishment to those in need. Collection boxes were strategically placed within the dealership, ready to be filled with essential food items. Throughout the month, these boxes quickly filled up with non-perishable food such as pasta, rice, canned food, and other nutritious items. By the end of the drive, the dealership proudly filled two large boxes with donations. This food drive not only provided much-needed aid to countless individuals but also demonstrated the power of community spirit and collective action. Hello Subaru of Valencia has proven that when people come together with a common purpose, remarkable achievements are possible. Hello Subaru of Valencia's dedication to their community continues to shine as a beacon of hope and unity. By fostering connections and working together, they have made a significant impact on the lives of those in need, creating a brighter and more compassionate future for all.

We are very grateful to Hello Subaru Valencia for sponsoring Titania K-9 Fund’s 8th Annual Event: Wanted: Wild West Gala at Sand Canyon Country Club just off the 14 Fwy, Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1-4 pm. Net proceeds benefit the Dog Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles that provides the physical, emotional and social benefits of dog therapy to patients and their families. This important program is entirely donation-funded and the dog-handlers are volunteers. Titania K-9 Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization (#88-3956990), hosts a single annual event for this very special cause. Our story is simple and heartfelt. Young artist and ardent animal lover Tory Kane valued visits from the therapy dogs so much that she requested before passing away in 2015 that donations in her memory be directed to the hospital’s dog therapy program. Fifteen-year-old Tory received treatment for a cancerous tumor at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for 8 months during which time the dog therapy program brought her joy and comfort. The sound of a dog's toenails in the hallway meant that Tory could expect 20 minutes or so of unconditional love from a furry being who wouldn't ask about her illness or care if her head was bald. The dogs can visit nearly every section of the hospital and get on the bed of young people, like Tory, who were receiving chemo and other treatment that made it difficult to eat, walk around, or even concentrate. As a teenager missing out on school, social activities, sports and, generally, LIFE, the dog therapy program was one moment of "normal" that helped Tory bear the emotional burden of a scary diagnosis. It was six months after Tory passed that Tory's mom asked a group of close friends to meet at the family's house and discuss the idea of holding an annual fundraiser for dog therapy. The team at the hospital supported us all as we created our first event which was a high tea. We called it "Tea for Titania." Young Tory was a passionate artist with a particular interest in anime; During her time in treatment, she created the original character “Titania” to represent the superhero inside each child battling illness or injury. “K-9” is Titania’s trusted therapy dog. Our first 6 events were high tea celebrations, the 2023 event was a dinner gala, and this year we are having a Wild West Themed Gala. To date, the Titania K-9 Fund has raised over $82,000 for dog therapy at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles by holding annual events in Lancaster and Valencia. Money raised comes from a silent auction and raffle held at the event, as well as from private and corporate donations from the community. Our dedicated committee consist of Tory's parents, their close friends, parents of Tory's classmate, and Tory's best friends - now young adults. The dog therapy program brings a group of dogs and handlers to our event each year so that the attendees can see for themselves the magic of dog therapy which has been a vital part of the culture at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 2001. Dog teams can now visit from early morning to night, seven days a week, all year round. Dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes visit the hospital, from tiny 4-pound Tino to giant 190-pound Bonner. All of the dogs and their human handlers are volunteers who have completed a comprehensive evaluation process. A few fun facts about the program: Each of the dogs gets a set of cards, much like Pokemon Trading Cards, which has a photo of the dog and describes their favorite toys and activities. Patients collect these cards - Tory's parents still have hers in a photo book. The dog handlers don't have an easy volunteer job. They walk into a room with a child and family experiencing the great unknown of chronic illness or injury. (The term "walking on eggshells" comes to mind.) These kind volunteers expertly and patiently listen and talk about dogs - a topic kids love! Dogs are popular with the hospital Staff too. Staff at the hospital also benefits from the dogs. The stress of treating very sick children can be unburdened, at least briefly, by the way of a tail and the touch of a soft, furry head. Finally, while patients receive the longest and most focused interactions, dogs also lend support to siblings, parents, visitors, medical staff and other employees. More than 25,000 individuals benefited from a dog therapy interaction at the hospital last year. Note: The photos submitted of a teenager and a therapy dog are photos of Tory Kane with therapy dogs during her treatment in 2014-2015. She passed away on July 2, 2015 at the age of 16 1/2. She did make it through treatment, but her cancer spread quickly once chemo stopped and she lived only 40 days after that. The first thing she did when she found out that she would not survive is help her dad adopt a therapy dog, not for kids at the hospital, but just for him. There is also a photo of a Titania and K-9 figurine.

Hello Subaru of Valencia is proud to announce the success of their first Bundle of Joy Drive, an initiative dedicated to supporting new moms in our community. In partnership with SCV Pregnancy Center, Hello Subaru of Valencia provided over 1000 diapers and 40 diaper bags filled with essential items for mothers, particularly those from low-income backgrounds. These diaper bags were thoughtfully packed with crucial newborn care items, including diapers, baby wipes, baby lotion, baby wash, baby ointment, pacifiers, baby bottles, baby blankets, and a $25 Amazon gift card. The dedicated team at Hello Subaru of Valencia came together to assemble these bags with care to ensure that each one would make a significant impact. SCV Pregnancy Center is a leading healthcare team committed to providing relevant medical services in a caring and professional atmosphere to those facing unplanned pregnancy and sexual health decisions. Each member of their team is dedicated to service, education, and quality care, addressing the diverse needs of the community. During their visit to SCV Pregnancy Center, Luz, the Community Liaison, gave the Subaru team a tour and explained the profound impact of these diaper bags. She shared that many homeless women seek help from the center, and these diaper bags will provide much-needed support for them. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2023, there are approximately 11 million single-parent families in the United States, who are vulnerable to economic hardships and more than 80% of those are headed by first-time single mothers. Many first-time single mothers turn to non-profits like SCV pregnancy centers for essential support to help provide critical resources, including diapers, baby food, prenatal care, and parenting classes. For instance, WIC serves over 1.8 million infants annually, a significant number of whom are born to first-time single mothers. This initiative reaffirms the commitment at Hello Subaru of Valencia to giving back to the community and assisting those who need it most. It is truly a blessing to be able to support these mothers and provide them with the resources they need for a brighter start. Hello Subaru team are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with SCV Pregnancy Center and look forward to continuing their efforts to make a positive impact. Hello Subaru of Valencia is here to serve the community, and they take great pride in contributing to the well-being of those around us. This Bundle of Joy Drive is just one example of their ongoing dedication to fostering a supportive and caring environment for all.

Subaru of Valencia has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership is dedicated to supporting cancer patients by delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope. On Monday, June 17th, Subaru of Valencia and LLS made a special visit to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, personally delivering these comforting items to patients undergoing treatment. Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center for the annual Subaru Loves to Care Initiative to support cancer patients by donating warm blankets and patient care kits. Hello Subaru staff and customers also wrote encouraging messages of hope to the patients undergoing treatment. Subaru has an ongoing commitment to making a difference in the lives of cancer patients. Through its partnership with LLS, Subaru has supported nearly 350,000 cancer patients nationwide, solidifying its position as LLS's largest automotive donor. Last year, a Subaru staff member's father, while receiving cancer treatment at the Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, saw the Message of Hope board. He shared a photo with his daughter, next to her message of encouragement she wrote: “Keep pushing, Keep Fighting, you are not alone.” This story highlights the impact for both patients and their loved ones. This year, Hello Subaru of Valencia, along with three staff members from LLS, visited Providence Holy Cross Medical Center to deliver a few blankets to Michelle Tabar, the Oncology Nurse Manager. Michelle introduced the team to a few nurses, who have been providing care to their patients and expressed how these blankets will mean a lot to their patients. The team headed to their second stop, The Providence Holy Cross Infusion Center, where they met Allyson Wreede, the Nurse Manager. They donated the rest of the boxes filled with blankets and received a tour of the facility. The team learned about the vital work being done to treat approximately 30 cancer patients daily. They shared their patients' Wall of Hope filled with orgami birds and their prayers written on them. The oncology and hematology departments at Providence Holy Cross focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer and blood diseases. Common conditions treated include iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia, and lymphoma. During this visit, Hello Subaru donated over 80 blankets and 10 patient care kits, providing much-needed comfort and support to the patients. Hello Subaru of Valencia dedication to making a real difference in the community goes beyond being just a car company; it reflects a commitment to humanity and compassion. They are a company that cares deeply about the well-being of individuals and their families, making an impact on the lives of those facing challenging times.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Hello Subaru of Valencia proudly partnered with Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary to honor our nation's heroes. Memorial Day is typically a time to honor those who served our country with a "Thank you for your service," but those who have fallen often don't get the recognition they deserve. In a gesture of remembrance and gratitude, the Hello Subaru team donated 300 flowers to be placed on the graves of veterans, paying tribute to their bravery and service. The Subaru dealership showroom featured a beautiful flower wreath and a poster board explaining our initiative. The display highlighted how Hello Subaru of Valencia was dedicating the weekend to donating flowers to the cemetery for our veterans. They wanted to be different from typical dealerships, where the focus is solely on sales, by going beyond and contributing to our community in a more meaningful way. The Eternal Valley Memorial Park hosted a heartfelt event for fallen heroes on Memorial Day to honor them, bringing together families and community members to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served. It was profoundly meaningful to see how Hello Subaru of Valencia contribution made a difference during this significant event. Noelian, the General Manager from Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, "Thank you for the flowers donated for the Memorial Day event! The families were very grateful for them." These moments of reflection remind us of the true purpose of the holiday and reinforce the commitment to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. Hello Subaru of Valencia believes in paying tribute where it's due, especially to our nation’s heroes.

For the past three years, I have had the honor of participating in the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, a global event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for men's health issues, particularly prostate cancer and mental health. This cause is close to my heart, and the experience becomes more exhilarating and deeply fulfilling each year. The ride brings together a diverse group of individuals, all united by a common goal and a love for classic and vintage-style motorcycles. Dressed in our finest suits, we rode on a scenic route through the city. The sight of hundreds of well-dressed riders on their polished bikes is truly a spectacle, and it serves as a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together for a cause. I was proud to represent Hello Subaru of Valencia this year, who generously donated $1,000 to the cause. Their support was instrumental in helping us reach our fundraising goals. The incredible generosity of our community and the dedication to making a difference. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is more than just a motorcycle event; it's a movement that encourages men to talk openly about their health and to support one another. The funds raised go directly to programs that support prostate cancer research and mental health initiatives, making a tangible difference in the lives of many. Participating in the ride is always a humbling experience. Seeing the community come together, share stories, and support each other is inspiring. The camaraderie among the riders is palpable, and it is clear that everyone is driven by a shared passion for making a positive impact. As we rode through the city, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride raises crucial funds, spreads awareness, and fosters a sense of solidarity among men worldwide. Participating in such a meaningful event for the past three years has been an honor, and I look forward to participating again next year.

We are the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children's Cancer and I cannot say enough about the "Little Hero's Day" event that the Hello Subaru Valencia sponsored at MB2. It truly was a magical day for our families. They were treated like royalty, everyone was welcomed like they knew them already. The event was filled with fun, games, laughter, joy, swag and yummy food!! This was extra special because our families are dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis which hinders them emotionally, socially and financially. This event allowed them to play and be normal children (away from white coats) for a few hours, that was priceless. Also, because some our families are low income and they could not provide this type of entertainment for their whole family. All the staff at Hello Subaru Valencia are amazing people. They truly care for the community that they do business in. The stand out is Jessica Menendez. She is a gem! Her enthusiasm about Hello Subaru Valencia and helping her community is contagious (and admirable). Once again THANK YOU for caring and for your continued support!!! You are making a difference and a direct impact on these families.

Hello Subaru of Valencia is thrilled to announce their partnership with the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center for their 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament. This event is dedicated to raising funds for essential mental health services. As proud sponsors, Hello Subaru of Valencia donated $1,000 to support this vital cause and participated with a team in the tournament to represent Hello Subaru. In the lead-up to the main event, Hello Subaru held an internal tournament to select two contestants who would represent them at the cornhole tournament. Everyone was very excited to sign up for such a great cause. After some friendly but competitive games, we had our winners: Sales Manager Brenton and Client Loyalty Advisor Chad. Both demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship, earning a $100 gift card each and the honor of competing in the main event on behalf of Hello Subaru of Valencia. The Samuel Dixon Family Health Center has been a cornerstone of the Santa Clarita Valley and neighboring communities, providing primary health care and non-emergency services to all residents, regardless of their ability to pay. As a full-service health safety-net provider, they offer high-quality, culturally sensitive, affordable, and accessible healthcare, including dental and mental health services. Their mission is to enhance wellness by providing quality outpatient health care services and programs, health education, community resources, and referrals. Founded in August 1980, the health center has a rich history of serving the community, initially operated jointly by the Newhall Memorial Hospital. The center's philosophy is to empower patients to manage their health and healthcare through a self-management patient care model. Last year alone, the center provided over 11,000 patient contacts, many of which helped prevent illness, eliminate unnecessary emergency room visits, and support family members in maintaining employment. The cornhole tournament event was a fantastic success, with over 30 teams participating, all eager to show their support for this remarkable organization. The event was filled with community spirit, as everyone enjoyed their time knowing they were making an impact and are playing for a purpose. Hello Subaru of Valencia is proud to have made it to the 9th place out of 30 teams. The shows a testament to our team's dedication and competitive spirit. Hello Subaru of Valencia is deeply committed to giving back to the community and including Hello Subaru’s team in efforts that make a difference. Hello Subaru of Valencia loves supporting its staff who are part of a meaningful cause. Hello has stepped forward to sponsor $1,000 to employee, Jonathan Ramos's and team for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. The event was held on May 19th, 2024, at the LA Bike Shed. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, a global event, gathers classic and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research as well as men's mental health. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride dates back to 2012 in Sydney, Australia, inspired by the iconic image of Don Draper from the TV show Mad Men. The image of a classic motorcycle and a man in his finest suit. Founder Mark Hawwa envisioned a themed ride to unite motorcycle communities worldwide while supporting vital causes. Since its establishment, the ride has achieved remarkable milestones, such as raising 45 million for men's health and having over 500,000 classic and vintage riders participate in 121 countries worldwide. One significant partnership that has fueled the ride's success is with the renowned charity organization Movember. Since 2016, Movember has been the official charity partner of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. Together, they aim to address critical issues concerning men's health. Prostate cancer stands as the second most common cancer in men globally. Early detection is crucial, and Movember provides invaluable resources for those navigating prostate cancer treatments and related challenges. In addition to cancer resources, Movember also advocates for men’s mental health. Globally, we lose one man to suicide every minute, highlighting the urgency of providing better mental well-being and social connections. Hello helped Jonathan share his mission and the great cause he rode for with others. With the help of Hello and other staff members he raised $1,142 in donations. Jonathan said, " Hello and everyone, Thank you for sharing, and thank you to everyone who has looked into it and donated. The purpose of this is to spread awareness. Don't forget to do your yearly check-ups, and if you need to talk to someone, please reach out. Remember, we are all in this together"! Their sponsorship underscores their dedication to noble causes and reflects a culture that values compassion and social responsibility. Together, they can make a meaningful difference in the fight against prostate cancer and men's mental health stigma.

I wanted to let you know how much the Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative appreciates Hello Subaru of Valencia sponsoring the SPA DAY for Military Spouses. We all know about the numerous events put on by our community for the “veterans” but not as many for their spouses’. Yet many spouses and significant others do their own tour of duty in the support and time provided to ensure that the needs of the serving person are met. By sponsoring this event you recognize and honor what spouses mean to a military family and allow those accomplishments to be front and center. And believe me they really love that special day put aside for them. We at the Collaborative get the thanks but it is Hello Subaru of Valencia that deserves the accolade.
Jessica M.
Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with the Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative for the second annual Military Spouse Appreciation Day. This special event was dedicated to celebrating the heroes behind the uniform: military spouses. Held at the Anthony Vince Nail Salon, it was a day filled with pampering, gratitude, and shared stories, creating unforgettable moments for those who give so much in support of their loved ones in service. Military spouses deal with prolonged periods of separation from their partners during deployments, which can lead to loneliness, anxiety, and added responsibility in managing the household and children alone. This strain can affect mental health and well-being. Military spouses play a critical role in maintaining the household, supporting their children, and providing emotional support to their spouses in the military which often goes unnoticed. Their contributions enable military personnel to focus on their duties without worrying about their families. By increasing awareness and improving support systems, Hello Subaru ensures that military spouses receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve. The day began with warm welcomes and smiles, as 40 military spouses arrived at the nail salon, excited for a well-deserved manicure and pedicures. The spouses were treated to a moment of relaxation and self-care, a chance to unwind and feel appreciated for all they do. Hello Subaru went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the day was special, which included morning donuts and a delicious lunch. Jeff Stabile, a veteran and volunteer from the Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative, along with Christian, the manager from a local Starbucks, added to the day's festivities by providing free coffee. Each spouse received a "Military Spouses are Appreciated" tote bag, a small gesture with a big impact, symbolizing the gratitude for their sacrifices and resilience. What made this event even more remarkable was the partnership between Zee, the owner of Anthony Vince Nail Salon, the Santa Clarita Veteran Collaborative and the Hello Subaru staff that came together to make this event happen. They joined forces to create a truly meaningful experience for everyone involved. Military spouses shared their stories with volunteers, expressing their deep appreciation for the opportunity to be pampered and recognized for their sacrifices. One attendee, Jeff's wife, expressed, “I would like to thank you all very much for a wonderful afternoon. Both my niece and I felt sooo pampered and loved the process and the results of our manicure and pedicures. And in my case, the special gift of the fill! Many thanks to you and Hello Subaru for making this happen!” What truly made this event special was the sense of community and support that these spouses received. In a space created by Hello Subaru of Valencia, military spouses came together, sharing their stories and realizing they are not alone in their journey. In a world where their sacrifices are minimized, this event served as a reminder that their contributions are valued and cherished. Hello Subaru of Valencia's commitment to their community shines through initiatives from the "Hello Gives Back" program. Through partnerships and events like Military Spouse Appreciation Day, they are making a difference in the lives of those who serve alongside our military members and ensuring that military spouses everywhere know they are valued and cherished.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to the Hello Subaru team for including me in the Military Spouse Appreciation Day. It was a memorable and meaningful experience, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity. My daughter works at Subaru and kindly asked the team if I could attend, which made the day even more special for me. My husband served in the Navy for several years, and during his service, it was very challenging being away from him for such long periods and missing out on the kids' milestones. Those were tough times, but the support from communities like Subaru makes a significant difference. Having an event dedicated to honoring the spouses who take care of the family while their partners are away is truly wonderful. It acknowledges the sacrifices and efforts of military families, which are often overlooked. The event left me feeling appreciated, acknowledged, and supported. I thoroughly enjoyed my spa day and the lovely tote bag! Thank you once again, Hello Subaru, for this amazing experience. Your recognition and support mean the world to me and to all military spouses.

The William S. Hart Regiment Band and Colorguard is a 15-Time Southern California Scholastic Band And Orchestra (SCSBOA) Tournament Champion. The most Championship wins of any organization in the State. However, contrary to perception, we are completely self-funded with little to no financial assistance from the School District or City. We run multiple Fundraisers throughout the year in preparation for the next and it becomes more and more challenging to afford instruments and repairs, travel to competitions, coaching salaries, materials and supplies to build props, tournament fees, etc. But thank you to the generosity of amazing supporters like Hello Subaru, are we able to continue a tradition of excellence. This past year, the Hart Regiment and Colorguard won every competition it attended and at the Championship Finals, where the top twelve out of 36 ensembles, our team came in at a very close second place winning the Silver Medal. During the Winter/Spring, our Winter Guard went Undefeated winning Three Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) Gold Medals, the only team to do so in a single season for the second year in a row. They won the Gold Medal at the Southwestern Championships in Henderson, Nevada, and moved on to win the Preliminary Championship Gold Medal and the Championship Finals Gold Medal. Our students join The Regiment because they desire to be a part of a team that welcomes everyone with open arms, challenges them both artistically and intellectually, and gives them the experience of achieving so much more as part of a team. Statistically, our members earn a higher GPA and achieve more academically than the State average. There is a maturing value in an organization that encourages it's members to bring out their best. Our members consistently comment on how much they enjoy being a part of the team, making friends, making life-long memories. We would like to thank you, Hello Subaru, for your support in assisting us on this very successful season and we look forward to your continued support in the coming seasons.

Hello Subaru of Valencia recently made a young boy named Leo's day by presenting him with a one-of-a-kind customized ride-on Subaru car. Leo attended Hello Subaru of Valencia Little Hero's Day a few months ago. Little Heros Day was a day that Hello Subaru put together for local children with pediatric cancer and their families. These children have a compromised immune system and can't go to fun places like MB2 Entertainment like normal kids. Hello Subaru rented it the MB2 Entertainment Park early so that these kids could have time to just be a kid. At just one year old, Leo was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer. After a year of chemotherapy, he beat it at age two. But the cancer returned soon after. After two more years of treatment, Leo was declared cancer-free a couple of weeks ago. Leo, now at the age of 4, faces heart surgery this summer for a murmur they found recently. Despite it all, Leo's positivity and smile inspire everyone around him. Leo's mom is friends with one of our staff members, who bought a car from Hello recently. Leo loves cars and enjoyed checking out the Subaru models at the dealership. When the team at Hello Subaru learned of Leo's passion for cars, they knew they had to do something special. Everyone helped to make this possible. The technicians in the service department assembled the car, and the marketing team created customized decals to add to the car. It was a team effort that made everyone involved beyond proud to work for a company that cares so much. Hello Subaru of Valencia had a celebration held in the showroom, Leo and his family were greeted by the Hello Subaru team, including the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians, Management, Marketing, and Client Advisors. Despite their busy schedules, each member of the team made time to be there, eager to witness Leo's reaction when he saw his new car. The beautiful, customized ride-on car with Subaru decals, including Leo's name – "Leo's Ride.” The team had decked the car out with Subaru logos on the steering wheel, wheels, and rally stars along the sides. The car was presented with balloons, the Subaru legendary Snowy Owl stuffed animal, and a bow on the car, ready for Leo to take for a spin. Leo's eyes lit up as he saw his new ride. With a smile, he hopped in and proudly drove it around the showroom, showing off his new wheels to everyone present. But the generosity didn't end there. In addition to the customized ride-on car for Leo, Hello Subaru also presented Leo's mom with a spa basket filled with spa items for her to enjoy. It was a small token of appreciation for her unwavering strength and support throughout Leo's journey, acknowledging her immense role in her son's life and the sacrifices she's made along the way. It was a moment of pure joy and happiness, a testament to Hello Subaru's dedication to their community. The day was truly a day about being “more than a car company”, but a community partner creating memories for little Leo that will last a lifetime.

The Santa Clarita Valley WiSH Education Foundation held its annual "Wine on the Roof" fundraiser. Hello Subaru of Valencia was its main sponsor. The event aimed to benefit local students by funding enrichment programs within the William S. Hart Union High School District in the Santa Clarita Valley community. The evening started with a six-course sit-down dinner, accompanied by music from the Valencia High School jazz band and a fantastic Golden Valley High School Folklorico team performance. Over 200 attendees gathered under one roof to support these excellent students in our community. Executive Director of the WiSH Education Foundation, Amy Daniels, emphasized the organization's commitment to bridging the gap in state funding for education. Since 2012, WiSH has exclusively funded student programs within the district, positively impacting every student. Amy highlighted the foundation's role in supporting enrichment programs vital to students' success. One such beneficiary of WiSH's support is the Golden Valley High School Folklorico group. The dance teacher, Ms. Rojas, said, "The group has flourished into a class where students can earn credit while exploring their passion for dance. Thanks to WiSH's generous donations, students received essential dance attire free of cost, empowering them to pursue their interests confidently." Rojas expressed gratitude for the foundation's assistance, noting its instrumental role in fostering a sense of belonging and community engagement among students. WiSH's support extended beyond traditional academic endeavors, facilitating connections with the broader community through performances and events. During the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, the WiSH Education Foundation was a beacon of support. Board member Selina Thomas expressed how the foundation provided over 300 Chromebooks and internet access to students in need, ensuring that all students received education support during quarantine. In the evening, the host announced Hello Subaru of Valencia's on the stage; Jessica Menendez, the Love Promise Coordinator, announced the "Share the Love" donation of $31,030. Hello Subaru had another surprise for WiSH Education Founation with an additional $500 donation! That's over $31,530 total donated in 2024 thus far! Hello Subaru has helped raise and donate over $124,500 in the past two years through Share the Love and the Cocktails on the Roof event held at Hello Subaru of Valencia dealership. Taken aback by their generosity, Amy Daniels reciprocated by presenting Hello Subaru with a plaque expressing heartfelt appreciation. The partnership between Hello Subaru of Valencia and WiSH Education Foundation is committed to nurturing the community's future generation. The Wine on the Roof event, made possible by the sponsorship of Hello Subaru of Valencia, served as a testament to the collective effort to empower students and enrich educational experiences as Hello Subaru of Valencia continues to support the cause of education for brighter futures for local students.

Hello Subaru of Valencia continues to show its commitment to the local community by donating a $500 check to the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation, a non-profit organization, stands as a beacon of hope for families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer. Its mission is clear: to provide support to each family, allowing them to focus on their child's recovery journey. Childhood cancer is a harsh reality for thousands of families worldwide, with approximately 175,000 children aged 14 and under diagnosed each year. Alarmingly, it stands as the leading cause of death for children in the United States. However, among these statistics, there is hope. Thanks to organizations like the Michael Hoefflin Foundation who play a vital role in these families' lives which help bridge the gap by offering assistance and resources. Beyond immediate hospital needs, the Foundation offers a wide range of assistance, including grocery and gasoline aid, hospital parking passes, counseling, financial assistance, and educational resources. Each service is designed to help families with the burden of childhood cancer. During a recent visit, the team from Hello Subaru of Valencia had the opportunity to witness firsthand the amazing work being done by the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. They were given a tour of the facility, gaining insight into the various programs and services provided to families. One such initiative is the Outreach Program, which offers practical support to newly diagnosed patients and their loved ones by distributing Care Kits—special backpacks filled with essential items for hospital stays, including blankets, toiletries, and informational resources. Lety Garcia, the Patient Family Liaison at the Foundation, shared heartfelt sentiments at the end of the tour and expressed deep appreciation for their ongoing partnership with Hello Subaru of Valencia. Lety teared up while she spoke of the difference Hello Subaru contributions and support has made in everyone's lives. The team from Subaru of Valencia, moved by her words, found themselves with tears in their eyes, deeply touched by the significance of their partnership with the Foundation. Hello Subaru of Valencia is grateful for its partnership with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and is honored to have helped in various initiatives aimed at uplifting and supporting local families. From the Hello Gives Thanks Turkey Drive, Santa's Helpers Toy Drive to the Little Heroes Day and the Electrifying Egg Hunt events, Hello Subaru is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by pediatric cancer.

As a volunteer at the second annual Plant a Tree event hosted by Hello Subaru of Valencia in collaboration with TreePeople, I am excited to share my perspective on our meaningful experience. Alongside 15 other dedicated volunteers from Hello Subaru staff and their families, I contributed to a cause close to my heart: environmental conservation. The event took place at the San Francisquito Canyons in Santa Clarita. Our mission was clear: to plant trees and make a difference in our local ecosystem. We had shovels and gloves, ready to make an impact. For my family and I, this event was about more than just planting trees; it was about instilling a sense of responsibility and stewardship in the next generation. Witnessing my children excited to participate in the planting process filled me with pride and hope for the future. My children are four and two and creating these memories with them is important. I am grateful that we have events open to family members as well. We worked side by side with other volunteers. We shared stories, laughter, and a mutual passion for protecting our planet. Each tree we planted felt like a small victory, putting in our part to create a greener, more sustainable world. After a day of hard work, we gathered to celebrate our accomplishments with a well-deserved pizza party at Toppers. We reflected on the impact of our actions and the importance of community collaboration in our community. Looking back on the day, I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event. The Plant a Tree initiative brought families together with a shared purpose and highlighted the power of collective action in making a positive difference in our environment. As the trees we planted take root and grow, they will serve as a lasting reminder of what can be achieved when we work together for a common cause. I can’t wait to return with my kids and wife over the next few years and see the trees we planted together have grown.

Today, at Hello Subaru of Valencia we gave away a kids ride-on car to a little boy named Leo. Leo attended our Little Hero's Day a couple of months ago. Little Heroes Day was a day we put together for local children with pediatric cancer and their families. These children have a compromised immune system and can't go out to fun places such as MB2 like normal kids. So, Hello Subaru rented it out to us early so these kids could have time to just be a kid. At just a year old, Leo was diagnosed with a very rare form of pediatric cancer. After a year of chemo, he was cleared of cancer at the age of two. Shortly after, he was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer once again. After two years of chemo and battling this rare form of cancer, Leo was officially declared cancer free a couple weeks ago. Leo will also be undergoing heart surgery this summer due to a murmur that they recently found. When we talk about strength, Leo truly represents resilience and positivity in the face of something no child or family should have to endure. I am close friends with Leo’s mom and I knew I wanted to do something special for their family. I have had the privilege to witness all of Leo’s milestones and he just makes you feel so special when you are around him. He is super smiley and happy. He is full of laughter and has a strong love for cars. When they visited our store to visit me at work, he was so excited to see all of the cars around and to sit in them. Him and his family deserved a moment of happiness and joy to help close this difficult chapter in their life. With that, I approached our team and asked if we could create a car for Leo. We completely designed a Subaru ride-on vehicle. Fitted for someone special, this ride is equipped with the Subaru rally stars and “Leo’s Ride” displayed on the back. From technicians assembling, to marketing department designing, everyone at their dealership contributed to Leo’s car Today we threw together a little celebration in the showroom just as special as any car delivery we have here. When Leo and his mom, Toni, arrived they were greeted by our entire staff and congratulated Leo on such a wonderful milestone. Placed inside the vehicle was a Subaru Owl stuffed animal, which brought Leo comfort with all the excitement. He got inside the car for a ride and his face completely lit up! He loved pressing the horn while driving all around the showroom. He even got to take it for a ride outside and experience the off-road tires. It was a joy for everyone to witness. I feel very honored to have had the privilege to share my family with my work family. Leo and Toni mean so much to me and getting to celebrate them today filled up my heart. It is so wonderful to get to work at a place that cares about the community and listens to employees when they are passionate about giving back. This will be a memory for me and hopefully to Leo for years to come. I can’t wait to continue to watch him grow and share his successes with the team. Celebrating a Leo's victory over cancer is a special moment of joy and relief. It marks not just a triumph over a difficult challenge but also the hopes and dreams for his future. Each moment of joy is a reminder of the preciousness of life, encouraging us all to cherish every day with gratitude and love. Recognizing this milestone uplifted everyone involved, reinforcing the belief in what we do here at Hello Subaru matters.

I had the honor to volunteer at Little Heroes' Day event, I loved being a part of an event that brought joy and relief to children and families facing the immense challenges of pediatric cancer. Seeing the smiles on the faces of these brave young heroes and their loved ones made every moment of volunteering worthwhile. From the moment families arrived, I could see the excitement in the kids' faces. My fellow volunteers and I, representing Hello Subaru of Valencia, were there to greet them with custom-designed shirts and capes, symbols of the resilience and heroism these children embody every day. It was heartwarming to witness the sense of camaraderie and support among everyone involved. Throughout the day, I had the privilege of engaging with the children and their families, witnessing their laughter and bonding moments. Whether it was cheering them on during go-cart racing or playing arcade games alongside them, every interaction was filled with warmth and gratitude. Being part of Hello Subaru of Valencia's partnership with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation was a testament to the power of community and compassion. Together, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of these families, offering them a chance to create cherished memories and moments of joy amid adversity. As a volunteer and being a parent of two special needs children, I left Little Heroes' Day with a profound sense of fulfillment, knowing that our efforts had helped brighten the lives of children and families in need. It was a reminder of the incredible impact we can have when we come together to support those facing challenging circumstances.

I love working at Hello Subaru of Valencia and knowing they love to give back as much as I do, especially in the community I live and work in. I volunteered at the Second Annual Plant a Tree Event in partnership with TreePeople and had the incredible opportunity to participate alongside my husband. I really resonate with Subaru’s pillar of Love the Earth. I am passionate about caring for our planet and I am thrilled to make a difference with my fellow colleagues. Together, we joined other dedicated volunteers from the Hello Subaru staff and their families, embarking on a day of environmental stewardship that would leave a lasting impact. San Francisquito Canyons is such a beautiful place! It is miles away from our home. I worked with my husband, digging holes and planting trees together. It was a great way to spend time together and know that we were contributing to our community. The experience was about more than just planting trees; it was about working together towards a common goal and making a positive difference in the world. Each tree we planted was a symbol of our commitment to each other and the planet we call home. As the day went on, we found ourselves admiring the beauty of nature and the sense of purpose that comes from giving back. After a day of hard work, we gathered with our fellow volunteers to celebrate our achievements with a well-deserved pizza party at Toppers. This event reminded us of the importance of working together towards a common goal. We can’t wait to visit in a year and see the growth of our planted trees.

Special thanks to Subaru Valencia, who recently donated 60 bins of essential supplies to Child & Family Center. The items were distributed to our survivors of Domestic Violence. When a survivor decides to leave their batterer, the decision can be overwhelming. They often leave with just the clothing on their backs for themselves and their children. Some of them flee to our 30-day domestic violence shelter. Others get assistance in finding housing so they can begin a new start in their lives. The bins we received included toiletries, dishes, towels, cleaning supplies, candles and personal items. All of these are so important when a survivor is starting over. Two of the clients who received a bin expressed their gratitude: Thank you so much for everything that you brought me. It is really helpful specifically at these times. I really appreciate it. Very appreciative of all the support from Child & Family Center. Love this agency and services are beyond expectations. Thank you Hello Subaru for your generous donation and your ongoing support of Child & Family Center and our clients.

Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with TreePeople to host the second annual Plant a Tree event in the beautiful San Francisquito Canyons. This initiative had 16 dedicated volunteers from Hello Subaru staff and their families plant 12 trees! It brought families together with a purpose: contributing to the reforestation efforts crucial for our environment's health and future. In the past two years, Hello Suabru has planted 52 trees. TreePeople is a nonprofit organization that empowers communities to unite and take action for the environment, mainly focusing on trees and urban forestry. In our community, TreePeople plays a vital role by organizing tree-planting events, educating residents about the importance of trees, and advocating for sustainable urban development practices. Their efforts not only enhance the beauty of our community but also provide numerous environmental benefits, such as improving air quality, reducing the urban heat island effect, conserving water, and supporting biodiversity. TreePeople's commitment to creating healthier, more resilient communities through tree planting and environmental education significantly and positively impacts our local environment and quality of life. San Francisquito Canyon, only miles away from hello Subaru, is known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity, was the chosen site for this event, underscoring the importance of nurturing natural habitats that support a wide array of wildlife. With shovels and gloves, the volunteers worked hard to pull weeds and plant trees. The heartfelt words of one volunteer and their family resonated deeply: "What I'm going to do now that we have a tree planted with my family is to come often to see its growth. This means a lot to us as a family, as we teach our kids the importance of giving back to the environment." Showing its impact not just on our planet but everyone involved through shared experiences and giving a sense of purpose. After a day of hard work and making a difference in the canyon, the volunteers gathered to celebrate their accomplishments with a well-deserved pizza party at Toppers. This gathering was about enjoying delicious food and reflecting on their efforts' impact and the shared commitment to environmental conservation. The Plant a Tree event reminds everyone that they can contribute to our planet's health and showcases how partnerships can lead to significant positive changes in our environment. As the trees planted in San Francisquito Canyon grow, they will stand as a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together for a noble cause. Hello Subaru of Valencia hopes to inspire others to do their part, big or small, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable world.

Hello Subaru of Valencia hosted an electrifying event far beyond a typical car promotional event. The "Electrifying Egg Hunt" aimed to introduce the 2024 Solterra while providing families with unforgettable memories. Hello Subaru invited their partners, the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, to bring families who would benefit from this event. Michael Hoefflin does so much for the community! They help families navigate the challenges of having a child with cancer by giving them the resources and support they need. Hello was honored to invite these families to enjoy a worry-free day. As families arrived, they were welcomed by the friendly Hello Subaru team, who handed out free dinner tickets for the whole family and Easter-themed Solterra tote bags for the kids to color in. The showroom was transformed with easter theme decorations. The all new electric Solterras were displayed in different colors, inviting families to explore and discover these vehicles new features. A highlight of the event was the chance to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny, which proved to be a hit with the kids. After, the attendees were invited to engage in arts and crafts activities with their kids, including decorating their tote bags. No family event is complete without delicious food, and attendees were treated to their choice of a smash burger or hot dog from a local food truck called Bun & Blanket. The main event, the egg hunt scheduled for 5 pm, brought all the kids together in anticipation by the customer waiting area. Ready to find their eggs, searching high and low. The eggs were filled with toy cars, pop-it fidgets, Subaru stickers, finger puppets, and candies. Kids loved the goodies they found in their eggs. Families and their kids approached the staff to express gratitude and share stories about having a great time. With a big smile, a 9-year-old, Alexander, thanked Jessica, the event's Love Promise Coordinator. "Thank you for inviting me and my family! We had such a fun time, and I love being around cars," he said. His simple words were a heartfelt testament to the event's impact, showing how these gatherings leave a lasting impression far beyond the day itself. This event showcased what happens when a business and a charity come together for promotion and to genuinely give back to their community. It was a powerful reminder that coming together and making a difference in people's lives for a good cause is the best way to celebrate. Hello Subaru of Valencia's commitment to meaningfully engaging with its community proves that it is more than just about selling cars; it's about building connections and truly giving back.

Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for a special event, Little Heroes' Day. This exciting event gave 53 kids and their parents a day free from worry and the stresses of their daily lives. The event was held at MB2 Entertainment, providing exciting attractions, arcade games, and an opportunity for these brave young kids to simply be kids. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting local pediatric cancer families. The foundation aims to ease families' burdens during this challenging time and ensure that children can focus on their journey to recovery. They extend a helping hand to families and provide services including Counseling Support, Financial Assistance, Emergency Support, and more. Every year 300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. Recognizing that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease past infancy among children in the United States, they strive to provide hope, help, and healing to children and their families facing the battle against pediatric cancer. Michael Andrew Hoefflin was a warm and loving child born on January 10th, 1986. At the age of six, his life took an unexpected turn when flu-like symptoms revealed a diagnosis of PNET/medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Despite undergoing extensive treatments, including brain surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and a bone marrow transplant, Michael's resilient spirit prevailed during his 17 months of remission. Tragically, in May 1994, the cancer returned with unprecedented strength. Michael faced this relentless battle with courage, maintaining a positive attitude and a persistent smile. His determination to help others inspired the formation of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation in September 1995, which is dedicated to advancing treatments, supporting afflicted children and their families, and finding cures for childhood cancers. Michael's passing on May 15th, 1996, left a void, but his legacy remains a source of inspiration for those touched by his remarkable story. Made possible by MB2 Entertainment, Little Heroes' Day was filled with excitement, joy, and bonding for children and their families affected by cancer. The event featured go-cart racing, (with a track dedicated to Michael Hoefflin), laser tag, arcade games, and lunch, allowing families to create memories together. Hello Subaru of Valencia volunteers passed out custom designed Little Heroes' Day shirts and capes, symbolizing the resilience and heroism of these children. Everyone involved could not help but feel immense gratitude for being a part of a company that cares so much. Hello Subaru had a special guest Kiki Sin from Subaru America, along with her husband, who volunteered at the Little Heroes' Day event. Hello Subaru of Valencia is not just a dealership, it's a community-driven place that thrives on giving back, especially to children. The decision to partner with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Little Heroes' Day was Hello Subaru commitment to making a positive impact in their community. It is their sincere belief that every child deserves a chance to experience the simple pleasures of being a kid, and this event allowed them to extend a helping hand in creating those lasting memories. Recognizing the importance of including siblings in the festivities, Hello Subaru of Valencia ensured that all family members felt seen and included. Siblings often feel left out due to the attention directed towards the child with cancer. This thoughtful approach added an extra layer of support for families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer. The impact of Little Heroes' Day was profound, with numerous testimonials expressing gratitude for the worry-free day provided by Hello Subaru of Valencia. Antonette Sandoval, the mother of a young hero named Leo Lopez who has a rare form of cancer, shared her experience: "It's nice we get to be here and have so much support behind us throughout Leo's journey. It's important to have some normalcy around and to come here and be with kids his age and feel normal." Hello Subaru of Valencia's partnership with the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Little Heroes' Day shows the power of community and compassion. This event brought joy and normalcy to children facing pediatric cancer and showcased the positive impact it can have when everyone comes together for a common cause. Little Heroes' Day will continue to give hope to families navigating the challenging pediatric cancer journey.

A month before the event, Hello Subaru of Valencia displayed toy donation boxes throughout the dealership showroom. They also had toy donation boxes in various locations in the Santa Clarita area. By inviting the community to donate toys for children of all ages, from infants to 18-year-olds, this ensured no one was left without a present. In the Hello Subaru training room, volunteers gathered the week before the event to prepare the gifts. Toys filled the training room, the lunchroom area and the upstairs hallways. Hello Subaru of Valencia's unwavering commitment has led to an incredible milestone, providing over 200 meals, doubling their impact from the previous year, and touching the lives of almost 1,000 individuals. This initiative not only brought a Thanksgiving meal to families in need but also created memories for these families to remember years from now. Hello Subaru partnered with a few local nonprofits like the Boys and Girls Club, Circle of Hope, Family Promise, Child and Family Center, Santa Clarita Veterans Services Collaborative, and the Michael Hoefflin Foundation to host its second annual 'Hello Gives Thanks' turkey drive. These nonprofit partnerships help families who are facing challenges such as cancer, homelessness, domestic violence, supporting our veterans, families who have children with cancer, and those struggling this holiday season. This event aimed to reduce the Thanksgiving burden for families in the Santa Clarita area. With rising food prices, the Hello Subaru team recognized the significance of easing this strain on families. Especially knowing that 8.27% of the Santa Clarita population (18.6k out of 225k people) lives below the poverty line, a rate lower than the national average of 12.6%. Hello Subaru of Valencia's efforts through this Turkey drive significantly impacted a community where many struggle to make ends meet. The day before Thanksgiving, the dealership was transformed into an organized two-line drive with a seamless distribution process. Each family received two tote bags filled with Thanksgiving sides such as mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, mushroom soup, and fried onions, along with a choice of turkey or ham, as well as bilingual recipes on how to make a turkey and green bean casserole. The impact of Hello Subaru's efforts was noticed, and the families shared how grateful they were for this initiative. Gratitude flowed through messages like, "Thank you for our countless blessings! Have a blessed Thanksgiving Day!" and "Our family truly appreciates it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving." The involvement of over 20 volunteers was pivotal in coordinating the event, from packing meal kits, handing out the groceries, and putting a smile on people’s faces. The decision behind the chosen kits reflects the Subaru team's personal experiences with these items, emphasizing the importance of family and sharing the warmth of their traditions with those in need. Larger families received two kits, ensuring sufficient Thanksgiving meal, while each family received a generous turkey weighing over 20 pounds. This initiative gave hope and spread love to all those who were involved.

Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control shelters for their second annual Adopt a Pet event. Hello Subaru covered the adoption fees for every pet, hoping to inspire the community to adopt one. LA County Animal Care & Control has 7 locations in the Los Angeles area. They gathered 30 pets from three of their local sites Palmdale, Castaic, and Lancaster, to help these furry friends find their furever homes. Hello Subaru booth provided new pet owners with beginner kits. Each bag included a leash, collar, dog toys, and two bowls with a non-slip bowl mat. These kits were more than just supplies; they were an initiation into the "Rescue Parent Pet Club." Hello invited two local vendors to join in, Healthy Furs and Pet Supplies Plus, offering their services and free goodies. It was great for the attendees, providing knowledge to new pet owners to help them start their journey with their new pets. Another fun booth was, dedicated staff members handing out "pup cups" to all the dogs attending, creating a fun atmosphere for our furry friends. A tag booth helped the new pet owners make personalized pet tags for their new pets. Heartwarming stories were shared, a senior 11-year-old pit mix, with numerous health issues and the inability to walk. Won the heart of a dedicated volunteer. The volunteer did not want to see the senior pet return to the shelter, so she adopted her! The volunteer wanted to give her sweet new pet a safe, comfortable, and loving home for the rest of her years. Their heartwarming story testified to the event's mission of finding forever loving homes for these pets. The event was a tremendous success, with over 18 pets getting adopted—all thanks to Hello Subaru of Valencia bringing the community a great Adopt a Pet event.

In heartfelt emails, they shared their sentiments with Hello Subaru: "Peachland Roadrunners send a huge thank you to Subaru! Smiles were huge, and hearts were filled. With gratitude, Peachland," and "It was so much fun announcing the donation and watching our teachers' surprised faces when we told them about the Adopt A Classroom credit. We are very grateful." These words were a powerful affirmation of Hello Subaru's impact on the school community. With every act of kindness, every box of supplies, and every note of gratitude, Hello Subaru of Valencia's commitment to giving back was an example of how their dealership is so much more.

The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with the WiSH Education Foundation to host "Cocktails on the Roof." This fundraiser aims at bridging the educational funding gap in the William S. Hart Union High School District, which helps nearly 22,000 students. WiSH has established 16 wellness centers throughout the district, providing students with a safe space to de-stress and access wellness resources, promoting emotional well-being. During the pandemic, WiSH recognized the growing number of displaced and homeless students in the district and distributed over 300 desks and chairs to any student in need, enhancing their confidence and performance during challenging times. They even provided out-of-circulation Chromebooks to these students who needed computer access. WiSH's dedication to benefiting every student in the district is truly remarkable. The "Cocktails on the Roof" event is a testament to how they involve the community to support these initiatives. The event was held in the Hello Subaru of Valencia service area. They transformed the space from a service drive to a beautiful outdoor venue with lights, VIP lounges, a dance floor, and more. Local vendors, businesses, and entrepreneurs set up their booths, serving food and cocktails. The attendees enjoyed an unforgettable event filled with live music, dancing, and everyone coming together from the community and having a great time. Hello Subaru of Valencia employees volunteered as shuttle drivers, bringing guests to and from the venue in brand new Foresters and Accents. Over 250 people attended the event, which helped raise a total of $60,000 that night. These funds will support the William S. Hart Union High School district students, empowering them with resources and opportunities they might not have otherwise. "Cocktails on the Roof" was more than just an event; it was a celebration of community and the commitment to support the young minds in the district. As the night ended, all those who attended reminded them that together, they could make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of students.

The Purple Palooza 5k Color Walk, hosted by the Child and Family Center, is an event dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and providing support to survivors. This event helped raise over $75,000 in funds to support the Child & Family Center's Domestic Violence Programs. Their programs offer essential domestic violence services for individuals and their children in abusive relationships, providing safety, shelter, and unwavering support. One in three women and one in four men have experienced physical violence from their partners. 81 million people worldwide have been subjected to psychological aggression within their intimate relationships, and one in six homicide victims are killed by their intimate partners. These statistics underline the urgency of the support and awareness raised by events like Purple Palooza. This year's event, Hello Subaru of Valencia, was the title sponsor and contributed over $11,000 to the cause. The Purple Palooza 5k Color Walk was a truly inspiring event, especially for the staff members of Hello Subaru who had overcome their own experiences with domestic violence. This event held a deep personal significance for them, and they had over 51 participants sign up for the walk. Throughout October, employees proudly wore purple ribbons to show their support and spread awareness about domestic violence in the dealership. They also took time to write inspirational messages on special custom cards. Hello Subaru had over 50 staff members write letters to inspire survivors through their words. One staff member wrote, "I hope when you come home from now on you feel warmth and comfort. I hope there is so much more color in your world now, and one day, you'll let yourself be loved by others the way you deserve. The strongest thing you've done is take the first step out of the doorway, never look back." Another staff member shared her story in hope to inspire others, "I once sat in a group at the DV center like you. I used to think that I did not belong there. I was wrong. I found new friends, strength, support, resilience, and to always have self-care. My friend, you are worth it! You deserve to celebrate who you've become and who you could've become and fought not to be. Be grateful for a second chance and always look forward to what's to come. You've got this!" The act of wearing purple ribbons and writing messages of hope is a reminder of the importance of the cause they are standing for. On the event day, attendees embraced the theme as they wore their best purple attire, dyeing their hair in shades of purple and wearing stylish purple wigs and purple tutus to show their support. There were multiple vendors, a DJ, a pancake breakfast for the participants, a Pup-a-Palooza pageant, a guest speaker, and so much more. Attendees who visited the Hello Subaru booth received giveaways and a chance to win a raffle prize of a wine bottle, two elegant glass cups, a relaxing 50-minute massage, scented candles, and a luxurious body scrub for one lucky winner. The Pup-a-Palooza pageant's purpose was not only to show off the best-dressed pets but also to shed light on the seriousness of domestic violence and the dangers it imposes on pets. It was a privilege to witness guest speaker Luz Sanchez, a survivor of domestic violence, sharing her inspiring story with others. The emotional impact of her speech left many in tears of hope and inspiration. She ended her speech with a powerful message, "You are worth fighting for, your children are worth fighting for, your life is worth fighting for; you matter, and your story can serve as a guiding light for those still lost in the shadows of abuse. For those men and women that sit in silence, remember you are not alone, you are valuable, you are worth it, you truly make this world a better place." Hello Subaru purchased and passed out purple roses to all the walkers as they crossed the finish line and received their medals. It was an act of kindness that symbolized admiration for the survivors of domestic violence. The Purple Palooza 5k Color Walk, with Hello Subaru of Valencia's generous support, was not just a community event; it was a testament to the power of unity and compassion. It was an event that made an impact on everyone involved, touched hearts, and spread awareness.

The WiSH Education Foundation has been so grateful to partner with Hello Subaru of Valencia for the past few years; their amazing team has sponsored our events and benefited WiSH through the Subaru Share the Love® Event , as well. Their impact on the 22,000 students we serve has been immeasurable - while we can quantify the number of programs we support in a given year, what students get out of these programs goes far beyond the dollars that fund the program. With Hello Subaru's recent sponsorship of our Cocktails on the Roof event, WiSH has funded resources in the student wellness centers that we established on all of our campuses district wide - including a brand new, district wide, family evening wellness program. The first event was well attended and provided a family resource that was previously unavailable; it provided a real connection to these centers that have become valuable spaces on campus. In an email from the wellness coordinator thanking us for the support, she said, "It was an opportunity for parents to connect with the space where some of their students receive support...and for students to feel a part of their school. One senior student that attended told me that he had never been to an after school activity and that he loved it! He wanted to know when the next one was going to be! Thank you for making it possible!" That's what our partnership with Hello Subaru of Valencia means to our students - opportunities that go far beyond what tax dollars and state funding for education provide; it means connection, anxiety relief, safe spaces, tools for success for the WHOLE student. Wellness is just one part of the impact they make, but it's a HUGE one. The Hello Subaru team is made up of genuine people who care deeply about community. From marketing to sales to the owners themselves, when we meet, they ask, "What can we do?" That has never been asked of us before, from any corporate sponsor. They go beyond what it means to be a business in our community - they make it better; they provide real opportunity through their support for every student, no matter their passions or challenges. They truly go beyond "sponsor" and embody "partner." Their sponsorship of our event, including holding the event on their Subaru campus and creating and donating valuable auction items, allow our proceeds go further than ever before, benefiting as many students as possible through our many programs. There's a smile on everyone's faces at Hello Subaru - everyone's. We feel like we have a partner in making good things happen for our young people. And I need to mention that transforming a dealership into a party for hundreds of people with tents and music is no easy feat; they didn't bat an eye. "What can we do?" We send out a huge thank you to Hello Subaru of Valencia for allowing so many people to party with a purpose. What a difference they make!

Hello Subaru of Valencia is always looking for ways to make a positive impact. In Valencia, the William S. Hart Union High School District houses 18 schools, each with dedicated teachers who went above and beyond to shape the young minds of the future. The William S. Hart Union High School District planned a board meeting to honor their Teachers of the Year. These educators demonstrated unwavering dedication, passion, and innovation in the classroom. Hello Subaru team felt a deep appreciation for the educators shaping the next generation and wanted to show their gratitude. Hello Subaru contacted the school district and asked to participate in this momentous occasion. The district was delighted by the prospect of their involvement, and together, they planned a surprise that would leave the Teachers of the Year in awe. On the day of the board meeting the teachers, dressed in their best attire, gathered in the school district's meeting hall, unaware of the heartwarming surprise awaiting them. As the meeting unfolded, the room was filled with speeches praising the dedication and passion of these remarkable educators. Then, as the grand finale, the Hello Subaru team took the stage. A representative from the retailer spoke passionately about the importance of education and the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the future. With smiles that radiated warmth and generosity, the Hello Subaru team announced their surprise. Each teacher received a $150 gift card to Staples, a token of appreciation to help them succeed in the classroom. The teachers were overwhelmed by the unexpected kindness of Hello Subaru and the school district. Hello Subaru donated over $2,700. The teachers hugged the team members from Hello Subaru, expressing their heartfelt thanks for the thoughtful gesture. It was a day when a car dealership did more than sell cars; they helped build a brighter future for the community they cherished.

Hello Subaru of Valencia is where customers become part of the Subaru family. Hello's corporate staff, Julie, who usually worked in her office upstairs, decided to hang out with the service advisor's downstairs. Julie from the corporate team made her way downstairs with a warm smile and a heart full of excitement. She had a little surprise in mind for the hardworking service team. She surprised the team with a box of freshly baked donuts and coffee. But there was someone else who had brought warm smiles to the dealership that day. A customer walked into Hello Subaru of Valencia with a radiant smile. She had come to get service done on her Subaru vehicle. Her infectious energy brightened the room, and her warm personality quickly won over the staff. The customer needed a ride back to her apartment while her car was serviced. Overhearing her request, Julie offered to take her in Hello Subaru's shuttle. While driving, the customer turned to Julie and said, "You can call me Sparkle. I just love sparkles!" She went on to share how she had been in her apartment for a few months due to illness, and this visit to Hello Subaru was her first outing in a while. She had used this special occasion to dress up and add Sparkle to her day. Julie and Sparkle hit it off immediately, bonding over their shared interests and hobbies. They talked about their love for the local community, and Sparkle mentioned her favorite spot: the Wolf Creek Restaurant. She raved about the delicious food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Once they reached Sparkle's apartment, Julie wanted to do something special for her new friend. Later that day, Sparkle returned to Hello Subaru of Valencia to pick up her Subaru. As she entered the dealership, Julie greeted her with a warm smile. Julie handed Sparkle a card; inside was a $100 gift card to her favorite spot, Wolf Creek Restaurant. The gesture genuinely touched Sparkle and expressed her gratitude to everyone at Hello Subaru. Moments like this remind us that sometimes, the most beautiful and meaningful moments happen when we least expect them, in the most unexpected places.

Hello Subaru of Valencia is more than just a place to buy cars; it was a place where their staff genuinely care about their customers and community. A new mom and dad with their kids visited the dealership to buy a new car for their growing family. The new mom had recently given birth to a beautiful baby girl, and her family had grown to four members. However, the joy of the new addition was overshadowed by the challenges they had faced. Just as the baby girl was born, the older sister, a four-year-old, tested positive for COVID-19. The family had been separated for a while, with the older sister receiving necessary medical care while the new mom took care of the newborn. One of the Client Advisors at Hello Subaru of Valencia noticed the exhaustion in the new mom's eyes as she shared her story. The advisor couldn't help but be moved by the strength and resilience of this family. Understanding how hard it can be to be a mom, especially during challenging times, the advisor was inspired to make a difference in their lives. The Client Advisor decided to take it upon themselves to surprise the new mom and her big sister on the day they visited the Love Encore Specialist to finalize their new Subaru. As the family went over the features of their new vehicle, with the help of Subaru, they arranged a surprise basket. In it, there was a voucher for an hour-long, much-needed massage for the new mom, a gift card to Grubhub to make their busy days a bit easier, and the big sister's favorite character, Bluey, in the form of a cozy blanket for big sister to cuddle with her new baby sister. They also included cute Bluey jewelry pieces and a pair of best friend bracelets for the big sister and her new sister. This gesture deeply moved the family. As the family left the dealership that day, they drove away in a new Subaru with hearts full of gratitude. They had experienced firsthand the genuine care and dedication of Hello Subaru of Valencia. The team had shown them that this dealership was more than just a place to buy a car; it was a place that understood the challenges of motherhood and was committed to making a positive impact on its customers and the community. With 50% of the corporate team and 30% of its employees are women, Hello Subaru of Valencia is a diverse and empathetic workplace that truly cares about people.

Two staff members of Hello Subaru were heading home after a long day of work. The day had been filled with the usual tasks and interactions, but little did they know that their evening was about to take an unexpected turn. As they navigated their way home, their eyes caught a dog running towards the street. Slowing down, they noticed a dog was without an owner. Without hesitation, they pulled over to the side of the road. They approached the dog together. They attempted to get the dog to safety with gentle words and soothing gestures. They were able to keep the dog out of the street as they went door to door in the neighborhood, knocking to see if they could find the dog’s home. Unfortunately, they had no such luck. A police officer's vehicle pulled up, and a kind-hearted officer stepped out to lend a hand. The trio, now a team, coordinated their efforts and managed to help the dog, gently helping the dog into the police officer's vehicle to take him to the shelter to check for a microchip. The staff member's thoughts turned to the supportive community they knew existed on Facebook. With over 45,000 members, the platform has been a source of helping many lost pets find their homes. They snapped a photo of the dog, detailing their location. Within moments, the post garnered attention to help reunite the dog with its owner. The staff member checked the Facebook group and received a notification that the dog was safe and back with its owner. The great deed that the Hello staff was a reminder that even during our busy lives, a single act of kindness has the power to create an impact of positivity that touches the lives of many including our furry friends.

A young man at Hello Subaru of Valencia, with his mother and brother, was there to get service done for their family Subaru vehicle. They were in the service waiting area, when the young man started having a seizure. The Hello Subaru team sprang into action. A sales manager rushed and dialed 911, calmly relaying the situation to the dispatcher. Meanwhile, a team member heard the distress and rushed over. Trained in first aid, she assessed the situation with a composed demeanor, her mind recalling the steps she had learned. She carefully guided the young man to ensure his safety, preventing any harm his involuntary movements might have caused. As the crisis unfolded, the young man's brother stood frozen, his eyes wide with fear and confusion. Sensing his distress, the same staff member helped the young man with gentleness reassuring him that his brother would be okay. While the mother spoke urgently with other family members over the phone, the Hello staff took charge, aiding her in providing clear directions to the dealership. They offered their support every step of the way, ensuring that her focus remained on her son's well-being. Soon, the wailing sirens of an ambulance and a firetruck arrived at the dealership. The first responders took over and helped the young man carefully onto a stretcher and rushed to the hospital, his mother at his side. Later that week, the Hello Subaru team, embodying the spirit of community and empathy, decided to go above and beyond. They covered the cost of the family's 30,000 mile vehicle service, a small but heartfelt gesture. Additionally, they made a thoughtful get-well basket for the young man tailored to his interests – red Beats headphones, a Spiderman hat, a wall-climbing Spiderman remote control car, and a Roblox gift card. The brother received a remote-control robot of his favorite character, Wall-E. During an unexpected crisis, Hello Subaru of Valencia demonstrated the power of unity, compassion, and quick thinking. They became heroes not through capes or superpowers but through their humanity. The dealership's genuine care for their customers turned into an ordinary day and showcased their support and kindness that makes Hello Subaru of Valencia not your typical dealership.

Hello Subaru of Valencia hosted their second annual backpack drive this July, just in time before school starts. The year prior, they donated over 300 backpacks to the local school district of Sulpher Springs. This year, they hoped to almost double their impact and donate 500 backpacks. They also hoped to expand their reach and help not just one, but three local school districts. The local districts of Castaic, Sulpher Springs, and Newhall have a student population of over 12,000 students, and 40% of them are economically disadvantaged. 6% of those students are also below the poverty line. With a new school year, children should not have to go to school feeling unprepared or afraid that they might be judged for not having new or the right supplies. Hello Subaru asked each of the school districts for a detailed list of supplies they needed for their students. After a month-long drive, with the help of the staff, customers and vendors, the Subaru Valencia team was able to raise over 581 backpacks. The team then came together to stuff the backpacks full of school supplies that were on the list from individual school districts. This included water bottles, notebooks, pencils, markers, crayons, colored pencils, pencil boxes, glue sticks, and so much more. Each backpack also carried a card of support and inspiration for every future leader, reminding them that they can do anything they set their mind to. The team was able to deliver all the backpacks to the offices of the school districts so that they could help young minds across the Santa Clarita Valley. But the support didn't stop there. The remaining backpacks found a new purpose with the Santa Clarita Veterans Services Collaborative, a heartwarming gesture that extended the drive's impact beyond the classroom. Homeless veterans' children would receive the support they desperately needed. Hello Subaru's dedication had paid off – they had surpassed their goal of over 500 backpacks. The feeling of unity and community was overwhelming, a reminder that the impact can be immeasurable when people come together for a beautiful cause. The second annual backpack drive was such a success that over 900 backpacks have been donated these past two years. Leaving behind a trail of gratitude, hope, and the promise of a brighter future for all those who this generosity had involved.

Family Promise SCV helps families at-risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. With rental prices skyrocketing in our area, we have had many families reach out for any kind of help we are able to provide. Hello Subaru of Valencia provided plastic bins with items such as dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, blankets, towels, hairbrushes, paper products, and plate sets. When you are struggling to pay the rent each month, every little bit helps. Our mothers were so grateful that they could use the funds normally spent on these items to put toward their rent instead. Our families experiencing homelessness were able to stock their new rentals when moving into their new home. Many thanks to the wonderful team at Hello Subaru of Valencia for their generosity in helping our local families in need.

With the newfound support, the team was now well-equipped to embark on their latest and most ambitious project yet - sending student art to the edge of space for the first time on the High-Altitude Student Platform (HASP). Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® for June, for the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative. Having just celebrated its first anniversary, Hello Subaru of Valencia was eager to continue building strong partnerships that would help create a positive impact on the lives of those in need. To help with hunger and nourish the community, Hello Subaru hosted its first-ever 12th Feed SoCal Annual Food Drive in collaboration with Stater Brothers markets, ABC7, and southern regional food banks for June. Statistics show that 1 out of 7 individuals in Southern California are dealing with food insecurity. As food costs have increased by 9.5% this past year because of inflation, many more may be struggling to feed their families. The retailer aimed to collect unexpired and non-perishable food items, recognizing the importance of providing quality sustenance to those facing food insecurity. The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia and the support of their loyal customers and the local community worked together to bring hope and nourishment to those in need. They had Boxes placed in the retailer, ready to be filled with essential food items. The boxes quickly began to fill up throughout the month with an assortment of non-perishable canned goods like pasta, rice, vegetables, and other nutritious items. I have been working as the Love Promise® Coordinator at Hello Subaru of Valencia for the past seven months. I am sharing my experience working with this incredible company and how they have supported the community and their employees. Every day, I wake up happy, knowing I work for a company that genuinely cares about giving back. As the Love Promise Coordinator, I am privileged to coordinate events that make a positive impact. Hello Subaru of Valencia is dedicated to helping others, and it is truly inspiring to be a part of such a compassionate team. There was a day when I received a phone call early in the morning regarding a family emergency. Without hesitation, I immediately contacted my manager to let her know that I couldn't come to work that day. I spent hours driving to the hospital, being there for my family, and navigating through traffic on my way home. I was exhausted and drained when I arrived, only to find that my vehicle's bumper had been ruined by not paying attention and crashed into my fiancé's truck; nothing happened to the truck, but my car did get ruined. The following day, I shared the unfortunate news with my manager. To my surprise, they didn't waste a moment showing their support. They looked at my vehicle and, without hesitation, decided to take care of the repairs and cover the costs. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity demonstrated by Hello Subaru of Valencia. Not only do they extend their helping hand to the community, but they also prioritize the well-being of their employees. I am grateful to be a part of a company that recognizes the importance of community involvement and understands the significance of taking care of its employees. Hello Subaru of Valencia goes above and beyond, ensuring that their love promise extends beyond their customers and reaches every individual within the company. I am proud to work for Hello Subaru of Valencia. I look forward to continuing my journey with this amazing company that consistently demonstrates its dedication to making a positive difference.

On May 26, in honor of Memorial Weekend, Hello Subaru of Valencia organized a Military Spouse Appreciation Event in partnership with the Santa Clarita Veterans Services Collaborative. The objective was simple: to honor the dedication and sacrifices made by military spouses by providing them with a day of pampering and gratitude. With the help of Anthony Vince Nail Spa, Hello offered wellness services to our Military Spouses, giving them complimentary manicures and pedicures, breakfast, lunch, and a gift bag. The news of the event spread quickly all over the Santa Clarita community and over 40 military spouses signed up, ready to experience a day dedicated solely to them. On the day of the event, the military spouses arrived and were greeted with smiles from the Hello Subaru staff, and they soon realized that this day was about more than just pampering. It was about acknowledging their unwavering support for our heroes. Laughter, stories, and experiences were shared, connecting and finding comfort in the company of others who understood their challenges. Overwhelmed with emotion, many spouses couldn't help but share their heartfelt stories and testimonies with the Hello staff, filled with gratitude saying things such as "I want to thank you for giving the veterans wife treat that is so sweet, and wonderful for you to do that". The event provided a platform for these spouses to open up, realizing they were not alone in their struggles. Their similar journeys formed an unbreakable bond, strengthening their spirits and igniting a sense of belonging within the military community. During the event, two veterans and one military spouse, unaware of the event, had come that morning seeking regular services at the nail spa. Through conversations, the staff at Hello realized their military status and decided to extend their appreciation by offering to cover the cost of their nail services. Their faces reflected their immense gratitude for this unexpected act of kindness. It was a moment that captured the essence of the event, an opportunity to give back to those who had given so much. The Military Spouse Appreciation Event left a heartfelt mark on all involved. The event's success was measured by the connections made; the stories shared, and the sense of unity that blossomed within the military spouse community. Hello Subaru Valencia, could not have asked for a more rewarding outcome. The event was a testament to the power of appreciation and its impact on the lives of those who sacrifice silently in the shadows. We received many responses from our Military Spouses, sharing their gratitude for the event such as, "I want to thank you, and all involved for offering this special treatment for Military spouses. The pedicure and manicure were great and having breakfast and lunch provided was over the top! We appreciate YOUR appreciation of our military, whether they are active, retired or ones who have served in the past." It was a day that celebrated the strength, resilience and unwavering love of military spouses. And above all, it was a day that showed how a simple act of kindness can make a profound difference in the lives of those who truly deserve it.

A Client Advisor at Hello Subaru of Valencia was going about their day while walking the lot when he heard a frantic chirping sound near them. A small bird was found, and it was trapped in a net. He quickly realized that the little bird was in trouble and needed help. They tried to free it themselves, but the net was too tight, and did not want to hurt the bird. That's when a Sales Manager stepped in. Being a retailer who cares for not only their customers but also the community and environment, they knew they had to do something. The sales manager and another colleague knew they had to act quickly to save the bird's life. They used a pair of scissors then carefully cut and untangled the net from the bird. It was a tricky task, and they had to be careful not to frighten or hurt the bird. But with patience and a steady hand, they were able to free the bird from the net. As soon as the little bird was free, it quickly flew away. The hello team cheered as they watched the bird soar off into the sky. They were thrilled to have saved a life and felt proud of their quick thinking and teamwork. The team felt proud of the values they embodied and were inspired to continue to make a positive impact in the world around them.

During the Subaru Share the Love® Event last year, the goal at Hello Subaru of Valencia was to raise funds to support the WiSH Education Foundation. This organization is dedicated to providing quality public education to all students. The event was a huge success, with over $33,000 raised. Hello Subaru was invited to attend, "Wine on the Roof," an annual event hosted by the WiSH Education Foundation. Hello Subaru took to the stage to present the check. The representatives of the Foundation expressed their gratitude for their continued support, emphasizing the importance of quality public education for all students. They told stories on how our donation made an impact on our local schools. One of the schools was able to purchase defibrillators for the classroom, which was able to save a student's life. The staff from Hello felt proud and humbled to have been a part of such a meaningful event, and they knew that their partnership with the WiSH Education Foundation would continue to grow and thrive in the years to come. They encouraged everyone in the community to get involved and support public education by hosting an auction at the end of the event and Hello Subaru donated an additional $1,000. The members from WiSH were thrilled with the turnout and the community's generosity. They knew that they had made a difference, and they felt grateful for the opportunity to share the love with their community.

On Earth Day, Subaru of Valencia partnered with TreePeople and organized a "Plant a Tree" event in honor of their commitment to the environment. TreePeople is an environmental organization that is dedicated to creating a sustainable and healthy urban environment. Their mission is to inspire, engage, and support people to take personal responsibility for their environment by planting and caring for trees. The staff members of Subaru of Valencia were excited to be a part of this initiative and decided to plant trees in the Santa Clarita area, specifically in the San Francisquito region. More than 10 Hello staff members attended the event, most bringing their loved ones along as well to make the beautiful day filled with fun and excitement. They learned that the Santa Clarita region had a Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and humid, cool winters. They were fascinated to learn that the Mediterranean-type ecosystem had a diverse range of species that were unique to this region. This ecosystem only occurs in five other regions in the world. The staff members of Subaru of Valencia felt proud to be a part of this initiative, knowing that they were contributing to the environment and making a positive impact on the planet. They worked hard throughout the day to plant a total of 40 trees that will help better the ecosystem. As the day came to an end, the staff members of Subaru of Valencia felt a sense of satisfaction in knowing that they had done their part in contributing to the environment. The "Plant a Tree" event by Subaru of Valencia was a success, not only because of the number of trees planted, but also because it raised awareness about the importance of preserving our environment. The staff members of Subaru of Valencia pledged to continue supporting such initiatives in the future and working towards a greener future. They hoped that their efforts would inspire others to join in and take action towards preserving the planet. It was a true spectacle of what Subaru Loves the Earth® is all about.

Hello Subaru of Valencia wanted to do something meaningful to make a real difference in people's lives. They came up with the idea of donating new home bins filled with essential household items to non-profit organizations that help people in need. Over 20 volunteers from the dealership spent time preparing the bins. They filled each one with new towels, blankets, a dinnerware set, a candle, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and toiletry essentials like a hairbrush, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and body soap. They wanted to ensure that each item was carefully selected to help people feel at home and get back on their feet. On the day of the delivery, the team loaded the bins and set out to deliver them to the four non-profit organizations they had chosen to help. They started by donating five bins to the Veterans of Santa Clarita. The volunteers were so grateful for the thoughtful donations. These bins will help veterans who were homeless and help them settle into their new homes given by the non-profit. Next, they donated ten bins to the single mother outreach program. The volunteers at the organization were touched by the generosity of Hello Subaru of Valencia and knew that these bins would make a huge difference to the families they help. The team then donated ten bins to a non-profit called Family Promise, a non-profit that helps families who are experiencing homelessness. Finally, the team donated 35 bins to the Child and Family Center. This organization helps and provides domestic violence services for children, teens, and adults. Their services are free and include safety, shelter, and support for survivors. The new home bins would be given to families as they transition into their new homes. It is a fresh start for many of these people, and these bins will make the transition easier. Hello donated 60 bins total, which overwhelmed the staff and volunteers, and they knew these bins would be a game-changer for the families they help. As the team drove away, they knew they had made a real difference in the community. The new home bins would help people in need feel more comfortable and supported during difficult times. They knew that Hello Subaru of Valencia had truly made a positive impact on the lives of those who needed it most.

Hello Subaru of Valencia partnered with a local Santa Clarita charity called JCI. JCI is a non-profit organization that inspires young citizens between 18-40 years old and dedicates their time to creating positive changes in their communities. Subaru Valencia has worked with them multiple times, and seeing their work in giving back in the Santa Clarita area is always inspiring. Hello was thrilled to participate in and sponsor Get Real Adulting 101. In this event, local businesses help teach teens about the financial responsibility that adults face after high school in a creative in-person game. They educate our young adult community members on how much their living expenses will cost and how much they will need to earn to pay for those things. Very similar to the game of LIFE, the board game! Teaching financial responsibility to young adults is crucial in preparing them for the real world. Events like Get Real Adulting 101 provide a fun and interactive way to do so. Each booth represented different financial responsibilities such as housing, food, transportation, and family. Hello Subaru had two members at the transportation booth educating on the process of buying a vehicle, like interest rates, down payments, and the value of having a good credit score when applying for a car loan. This event will give teens and young adults a sample experience of managing a budget while having fun! Hello Subaru of Valencia is proud to know they can help educate the young teens and adults in our community so that when they are ready to buy a vehicle, they will have an idea of what to expect.

Hello Subaru of Valencia hosted a sock drive for our staff and customers to donate socks that will be distributed to the underserved children and adults served through Bridge to Home. The Subaru Valencia staff had over five boxes of socks for all ages to donate for Subaru Loves to Help® month. The team members at Hello not only helped deliver the socks but they wore their Subaru Loves to Help socks to show their support! The movement raises awareness about those who are homeless in addition to providing them with fresh socks; a much-needed resource in many homeless shelters, especially during this cold weather. New socks can make a huge difference to a homeless person because they feel good and help defend themselves from several health problems. At any given time, there are approximately 600-1000 individuals experiencing homelessness in the Santa Clarita Valley. Homelessness can happen to anyone, and everyone’s story is different. Bridge to Home helps individuals and families in the Santa Clarita Valley move from homelessness to housing and has helped so many. Hello Subaru is proud and honored to work for a great organization like Bridge to Home and give back in a meaningful way.

Last Sunday, Circle of Hope hosted one of my favorite annual events that we do for our clients…Wellness Day. This event means so much to our clients for many, many reasons and thanks to our friends at Hello Subaru of Valencia the day was extra special from the moment they walked in. For those with cancer, every day is a reminder of the disease they are fighting and on this day they are pampered, spoiled, waited on and made to feel as beautiful and special as they are. We wanted to give them a day where there is no reminder of cancer. The ladies received special treatments including having their hair done and for those who have lost their hair due to chemo, they received a special head and neck massage. Ladies received facials, skin care treatments, make up applications, hand paraffin wax treatments, massages and had their nails done. They even made floral arrangements that they could take home at the end of the day. With the generosity from Hello Subaru of Valencia, they were greeted with mimosas when they walked in the door, were given breakfast and enjoyed a healthy lunch salad for lunch. All guests received a beautiful gift bag including a note from their friends at Hello Subaru. Circle of Hope provides financial support to pay for cancer medical bills along with 0ver 20 wellness therapies all free of charge to those diagnosed with cancer, cancer survivors, their families and caregivers. Thank you Hello Subaru for partnering with us to support those with cancer in our community!

The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia celebrated its Grand Opening week by hosting a WiSH Concert and Charity Event to kick off the Subaru Share the Love Event, on Saturday, November 19th. The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia was proud to host their very first Turkey Drive entitled, “Hello Gives Thanks” on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The Hello Team wanted to remove the stress of parents not being able to afford to purchase Thanksgiving groceries this year and give families an experience of cooking a homemade Thanksgiving meal together with their loved ones on Thanksgiving Day! With the rising cost of inflation, the average family spends around $100 putting together a complete meal for their families. The Hello team partnered up with both the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley and JCI Santa Clarita who help both single parents and lower income families. Through their partnership, they were able to provide full Thanksgiving meals to over 130 families. Over 10 Hello staff members assisted in packing grocery bags at our dealership creating a complete meal kit for each family. In each meal kit, there was the family's choice of turkey, ham, or chicken, box mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, ingredients to make pumpkin pie, ingredients to make green bean casserole, dinner rolls, gravy, cranberry sauce, and recipes on how to cook each Thanksgiving meal translated in both English and in Spanish. The best memories for many people are being home on Thanksgiving Day, surrounded by the smell of Thanksgiving dinner being cooked with friends and family. Everyone should experience this. The team loved being a part of this experience and helped any way they could from set-up, to coordination, and in the end, handing out two full tote bags of groceries to each family. It was rewarding to the team to see the smiles on people's faces, knowing they can enjoy a great holiday with their loved ones. Hello Subaru of Valencia truly believes we can work together and build a long-lasting relationship with giving back to their community.

Hello Subaru of Valencia celebrated its Grand Opening, Day 2 of 3-day series events on Thursday, November 17. After three years of no Subaru dealership in the Santa Clarita Valley community, Hello Subaru of Valencia finally filled that gap. They opened their doors to the public back in June while construction continued, and now that the facility is completed, they had the opportunity to celebrate with the community. The Hello Subaru team provided community members with a fun-filled celebration with food vendors, a DJ, vendors, car-meet and more! As a thank you to the 10 small business vendors that participated in the event and in conjunction with the holiday spirit, the Hello Subaru team presented the vendors each with a $250 check. The Subaru team was also proud to have Tom Doll, President and Chief Executive Officer for Subaru of America celebrating with us followed by more than 15 other SOA executive team members, the mayor, and the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce. To end it all, Tom Doll presented Amy Daniels, the Executive director of WiSH a $2,500 check to the WiSH Education Foundation, on behalf of Hello Subaru Valencia! The WiSH Education Foundation helps bridge the gap in state funding and provide student programs in the William S. Hart Union High School District. The Hello Subaru team was proud to be able to donate $5,000 back into the local Santa Clarita Community and give back in a meaningful way.

Hello Subaru of Valencia hosted it’s second pet adoption of the year on Wednesday, November 16th followed by a full week of fun Grand Opening events that followed. They were honored to have the opportunity to partner up with Los Angeles Animal Care Centers and other multiple Animal Shelters in the surrounding area to help animals find loving homes! The dealership welcomed many shelters and foundations including: Sunny Day Acres, St. Bonnies Animal Sanctuary, The Brittany Foundation and The Castaic Animal Care center all under one roof! The shelters brought a total of 33 pets, 13 cats and 20 dogs to the Hello Subaru Dealership. This is the second pet adoption event hosted at Hello Subaru and the team has already helped over 45 animals get adopted! Hello Subaru of Valencia also welcomed special guests to the Santa Clarita area, the Barkley dogs! It was such a joy for the team to have over 100 people attend, fall in love with pets and adopt, and take their photo with the Barkley dogs! Seeing all the sweet faces of the animals made it very hard not to fall in love with each one of them. In fact, Sarah, the caretaker of the Barkley dogs even added a new member to their dog family that day! The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia donated their time to work the event and help 22 loving pets get adopted and placed in loving homes! Even a few of the staff adopted a few pets themselves. Hello Subaru of Valencia loves to support and give back to their community in every way they can.

In celebration of the month of Subaru Loves Pets, the staff at Hello Subaru of Valencia was able to give back to many of their local animal shelters in the County area by hosting a pet adoption at their dealership location on October 8th. The Castaic Animal Care Center as well as the Palmdale Animal Care Center have almost 200 animals that are in need of a great home. Hello Subaru of Valencia was able to host a pet adoption event in which they were able to get over 20 animals adopted. Within the event they had over 100 people attend, browse, love and adopt the animals. Through the coordination with the Volunteer Programs Coordinator, Marissa Chaves, this was successfully completed. Supporting these local Animal Shelters and helping these animals go to a loving home is truly what Subaru Loves Pets is about. Hello Subaru of Valencia is hopes to continue to strive to give back to their community and help local charities and partnerships.

I purchased a 2023 Crosstrek Limited Edition from Hello Subaru of Valencia. I want to reach out to your CEO and let you know that their team there passionately cares for their customers. The sales Manager Chad is by far the most caring human being that I have ever come across and I would like him to be recognized for being an outstanding person. So far, throughout my new relationship with this dealership, he has been a truly caring gentleman. I had some after market work done on my new 2023 Crosstrek. He has paid very close attention to our needs. His follow through is impeccable. Excellent communication skills. He goes out of his way without recognizing it. That tells me how much he cares for his clients. He went out of his way to deliver our car to us by coming in on a Sunday when the dealership was closed, so I could pick up our car. He understood we had a very difficult work schedule and we were not able able to pick up during the week. He reached out and said we could swing by the dealership and pick our car up at 8 AM. I think that Subaru should be aware that they have an excellent sales manager working for them. I will share my experience of buying my second new Subaru that I have purchased from your company. Please reach out and acknowledge that what he does won't go unrecognized. Thank him for us, please. I am a customer service ambassador to a very large grocery company that deals only with high end customers, Gelson's. We are #1 in customer satisfaction. I have 42 years with that company and I teach the class for them to keep us #1, so I know how customer service works. It starts by listening to what the needs are. He is a front runner in your company. Thank you Richard LAllier 805-703-8065 [email protected]

This last month, two members of Hello Subaru Valencia were able to partner with a local charity called JCI to give students a chance to learn about financial responsibility. Within the event entitled "Get Real", students were given an identity including a career, salary and credit score, in which they must learn how to navigate real life budgeting and financial situations. There were various booths representing items such as shopping, entertainment, food, housing and transportation. The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia, was able to provide the simulation of purchasing a car and teaching students valuable lessons about their credit score. Students learned about interest rates, down payments, and the value of having a good credit score when applying for a car loan. Today's high school curriculum does include a financial literacy course. This event was a great way to bridge the gap between what isn't taught in schools but is required in real life. Over 150 students were taught about budgeting and financial literacy. Before this event, many students didn't understand what a credit score was, or what the true cost of living is. Helping young people prepare for their future is a vital part of their educational process. The team at Hello Subaru of Valencia was proud to be able to prepare these students for their future and better prepare them for the reality of being independent.

I've only been a Toyota car person for the last 35 years, but now I'm in the Subaru Family. I just wanted to let you know the great experience I had with HELLO SUBARU VALENCIA with Christian Montoya and Devon. The whole staff was helpful, friendly and awesome. I havn't bought a new car since 2013. I've been looking for a new car the last six months. Test driving Ford, Chevy, VW, Mini Cooper, Jeep, Mazda, Honda, etc. I needed a car for work but also a reliable and sturdy car for my mountain home with enough room in the backseat for a comfortable passenger ride, enough storage space, and a very safe car for my two grandchildren. After having compared safety, durability, MPG, pricing, leasing, and financing, doing all my homework on Google on how to purchase a car- some dealers had unbelievable added fees such as white paint $400, extra $5000 above MSRP etc. I'm very frugal, I'm a 60 year old widow. I don't want to be taken advantage of financially. I came to the conclusion that a 2023 SUBARU CROSSTREK was perfect for my LIFESTYLE. I went on one of those apps for Subaru specials sept 3 am. Devon the sales rep called me within 30 minutes and explained everything to me. I wasn't planning on buying a car that day. I had no insurance or monies with me, I just wanted to look. I found a beautiful black 2023 Crosstrek-- elegant and durable. I can go to Beverly Hills or I can go to MAMMOTH Mountain and fit right in. Thank you Again HELLO SUBARU of VALENCIA this is my SUBARU LOVE STORY . Rebecca Rosenbauer

Within a month of opening, the staff at Hello Subaru of Valencia was able to give back to their local students at Sulpher Springs School District in Valencia by hosting a backpack drive at their dealership location. The nine local elementary schools within the Sulpher Springs School District are home to over 5,500 students from kindergarten to 6th grade. Within the school district, there are also over 300 homeless families and has a population of over 45% of students with lower income families. Hello Subaru of Valencia was able to help donate and prepare over 300 backpacks full of school supplies that will be distributed to students in August for the 2022/2023 school year. This was successfully done by coordinating with Ashley Swanson, the District Wellness Coordinator of Sulpher Springs. Each school in the district has a Family Resource Center dedicated to the lower income families. Once a month, families are given the opportunity to "shop" at the Family Resource Center, allowing them to take home school supplies, canned food, or donated clothing and shoes. All 300 backpacks were donated directly from the staff and all school supplies were funded from Hello Subaru of Valencia. Over 20 staff members volunteered to help stuff these backpacks with the necessary school supplies and deliver them to the Family Resource Center. These backpacks were able to be distributed through the Family Resource Center to make sure every child has the supplies needed to have a successful school year. Supporting our community and students is what Subaru Loves Learning is all about. Hello Subaru of Valencia strives to give back in every way possible and can't wait to continue to give back to our community for many years to come.
Did Hello Subaru of Valencia go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
