Hart Union High School District houses 18 schools, each with dedicated teachers who went above and beyond to shape the young minds of the future. The William S. Hello Subaru contacted the school district and asked to participate in this momentous occasion. The district was delighted by the prospect of their involvement, and together, they planned a surprise that would leave the Teachers of the Year in awe. On the day of the board meeting the teachers, dressed in their best attire, gathered in the school district’s meeting hall, unaware of the heartwarming surprise awaiting them. As the meeting unfolded, the room was filled with speeches praising the dedication and passion of these remarkable educators. Then, as the grand finale, the Hello Subaru team took the stage. A representative from the retailer spoke passionately about the importance of education and the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the future. With smiles that radiated warmth and generosity, the Hello Subaru team announced their surprise. Each teacher received a $150 gift card to Staples, a token of appreciation to help them succeed in the classroom. The teachers were overwhelmed by the unexpected kindness of Hello Subaru and the school district. Hello Subaru donated over $2,700.
