The ground clearance is bumped to 9.3 inches on the Wilderness. Also included is an engine-protecting skid plate, Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires wrapped around the new Wilderness-exclusive 17-inch wheels, upgraded engine cooling power, and a devoted transmission cooler. 

Standard dual-function X-MODE provides settings that can optimize traction for varying conditions, including dirt, deep snow, and mud. X-Mode programming puts the power down to all four wheels, all the time maximizing your all-wheel drive capabilities.  

Inside the cabin, you’ll find Wilderness-exclusive features, including StarTex synthetic leather upholstery and copper accents. Subaru’s entire suite of Eyesight driver-assistance tech also comes standard.
